Motel 6 San Ysidro is a long-standing budget motel with a good location near the border to Mexico, the outlets, and places to eat. It offers free parking. Many guests found the front desk staff to be very helpful, polite, caring, and providing excellent customer service. The rooms are maintained very well. However, other reviews state the rooms can be really dirty, with dirty bathroom floors, sheets, and bedspreads. Housekeeping may not clean unless requested. There was also an issue with a reservation being canceled for late arrival without clear communication.

People in the upstairs room didn't let sleep. They were chatting with loud music and they were moving forniture all night. The noises stopped around 4 in the morning. I was kinda afraid to notify to the administration because they seemed to be drugged.
