They should just close this location. The employees look unhappy except for one. Homeless hang out around the building. I personally have witnessed a homeless guy walk in only to run out with stolen merchandise. I was told I couldn't use two coupons on one visit, and I couldn't use this coupon because the candy was on sale. Walked out with nothing. Jumped in my car, drove to the North Park location, and was able to use my coupons with that employee with no problem.

I was here a month or so ago at around 11 PM and the cashier was yelling at a customer and calling him all sorts of names because the customer wanted a refund on something. It was super unprofessional and the cashier tried looping me and my girlfriend into the argument. He was an older gay man.

Normally I would not give this CVS a great rating as it usually does not feel safe due to all the homeless. However, I had a wonderful experience today with the pharmacy drive through and wanted to share. Salam was the friendliest employee that I have worked with at the pharmacy. He was professional and went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service with a smile in the pharmacy drive through. I hope he is recognized by management and looking forward to my next pickup.

This used to be my regular CVS and I have spent thousands of dollars here in the 13 years I have lived in the neighborhood. I will never shop here again. This place has issues, and I reported those issues on the ANONYMOUS electronic survey they sent me via email. The next time I visited the store I was met with hostility by two of the people who work there for giving them a "bad review" (7 out of 10 stars). How did they know it was me? I blew them off and went on my way, but got the same bad attitude a few more times that I went in to shop. The last time I was in there, the manager said to me, "Well, I hope you will give us a 10 out of 10 THIS time." Huh? I asked him, "How do you know what I wrote on a survey?" Then he told me, "We played back the video and saw it was you." So, this "anonymous" survey - tied to your receipt - comes with a time stamp on it so that CVS corporate can know who was working at the time the survey taker was in the store. The manager took the time stamp, rolled back the video tapes of store surveillance to the exact date and time of my purchase to figure out that it was I who left the 7 out of 10 stars review. He thought he was being clever by telling me this (I doubt the guy is capable of coming up with such a plan himself) and the clerk ringing me up chuckled in a "Gotcha!" kind of way. Anyone else would have left the store hanging his head in shame after this. What did I do? I went home and took another survey they sent me on that most recent visit. I do hope you like the 5 stars I gave you. In a time when "everybody gets a participation trophy," people expect 10 out of 10 for just showing up. No, your store has issues. Just look at what people are saying here on Yelp. Address these issues and you will get better reviews. That's how it works. It's pretty simple, no? No need to worry about future surveys because I won't be back.

This is my local CVS. So, if I'm in a bind I'm going to stop by here or the Walgreens around the corner. The pharmacy staff is helpful and they always inform me if there are additional coupons available for something I'm picking up for the family. I rarely go inside because the store does feel a little stuffy, and there are usually 1-2 homeless people hanging out near the door. But that's more of a neighborhood problem not the business.

STAY AWAY. Absolutely disgusting incident here just happened. I just got verbally abused by the pharmacy manager, Jenay.I've never in my life been harassed and spoken to like this. She name called and started laughing at me. Absolutely disgusting behavior. She called me "a very triggering person" while she taunted me. An incident report has been filed with CVS headquarters. I hope they take action on this. Stay away from this pharmacy. Appalling behavior. I left shaking and crying and never have been abused like this. I called my fiancé while she was on her tirade (this all happened in the drive thru) and he couldn't believe her abuse. I have a witness to her abuse. I'm disgusted.

Not sure why they claim "open 24 hours" everywhere when they permanently have a sign saying that they close at midnight. Take down the 13 signs that say "open 24 hours" and change the hours description online so people aren't inconvenienced by a permanent change of hours.

This is the CVS that I mainly shop at. I love everything about this place except that there are always transients/vagrants hanging around outside the store that frequently accost customers as they are coming & going, so I took one star off of my review. Also, kudos to front desk/cashier Lupe who is always smiling & welcoming when I come in in the early mornings. She is a breath of fresh air after having to endure all the transients/vagrants we customers have to walk by to enter the store!

Grossly, grotesquely understaffed. Stay away. I thought it would help to make an appointment before going for vaccinations, but no. I arrived ten minutes early. Seven people were standing in line, and no one was staffing the check-in window. Customer service is obviously the management's last priority. I decided to pick up a prescription instead. There were only six people in that line, and one window was actually staffed. After only 20 minutes in line, I had my Rx and left. Instead of serving their customers at this branch, CVS is planning another branch at El Cajon/Park. I won't be going there, either. CVS won't be getting my business, except Rx, because my plan makes them cheaper at CVS.

The worse!!! The company might as well snatch all the phones out the wall because no one answers the phone here!!!! Literally on hold for 30 minutes waiting patiently because I know that it gets busy because I worked at a pharmacy before. But then someone picks up the phone and places it back on hold! I refuse to go over there just for them not to answer my questions or resolve my issue effectively. My son needs a maintenance medication each month and for the past several months this pharmacy never has it in stock and states that "they have to order it!" I don't understand how you can have a patient that needs this medication each month and the pharmacy never has it. The solution I am provided with is to go all over the city to find it. How about pharmacy is your business!!! You want loyal customers and patients but instead of taking care of them and making sure you help to provide the best care for them you push things aside uncaringly with no follow up nor follow through. It is very frustrating to keep calling or coming to the store each month to encounter the same issues repeatedly. The care and service is trash!!!

They have had a prescription all day that I need for pain from a fall. Early this morning they said it would be ready by 5:15. It's now 6:25 and it's still not done, and they don't answer the phone, they have a fake voice that is useless. NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO THERE.

This area has become unsafe and overrun by people on drugs. There's almost always someone in their parking lot on drugs. The staff is great, the pharmacy well supplied, but the area has turned scary. The store is not as clean as it used to be and the parking lot could be trashed by the homeless and addicts.

This is literally the absolute worst pharmacy in the history of pharmacies. I can't even count how many times I've had problems here. They're very unhelpful and have been extremely rude.
