This place has a friendly staff, clean environment, awesome sandwiches, great beer selection, and an entire room full of wine at reasonable prices.It's also right down the street from me in Mission Hills. What's more to want? 5-stars all the way.

The staff is so friendly, and they have a good selection of wines. The deli makes delicious sandwiches and there is freshly made prepared foods to go. It's a local gem that is popular with the locals.

I work down the street, and this is my go to sandwich shop at least 3 times a week. The chipotle chicken is a fantastic sandwich imo. The service is always great & friendly. Highly recommend.

Been coming here since I was a kid but hadn't been in a few years because my family moved in high school. I went back to get one of their sandwiches on impulse and to see if it was actually good or just nostalgic. It was not just nostalgic but amazing sandwiches, that are large and filling, all for an great price (like 7-9 bucks). I got a soda for 88 cents. Deals like this don't exist anymore. This place will forever remain the goat.

I'm born and raised in Mission hills and this deli without a doubt an absolute gem for all families and folks in the neighborhood. I went to Grant and as a kid all the peeps and I would go here and loved every moment. Not only Grant kids+family , but also Francis Parker kids+family go here too. I LOVE THIS PLACE!

Our go-to neighborhood deli run by the nicest family. True Mom&Pop shop. Boar’s Head deli and new pickle barrel makes our East coast hearts happy. Homemade food section with handmade dolmas and baklava, to mention a few. Top shelf liquor, weeknight wine and local beers. Fun new international candy selection. My sons walk here almost daily! A handful of table-for-two set ups with umbrellas outside. The owner, Susan, and her entire family, have created a wonderful mainstay of North Mission Hills!

This is by far the best liquor star I have ever been to. It is in a perfect location, wide variety of options to pick from, staff is always helpful, and best of all they have very low prices.

As crooked as they come. Anything rare or hard to find has no price. They Google it and then add to that. There are a lot of better liquor stores close.

BEST DELI in Mission Hills!!!! Not only do they have Boar's Head quality meats, the sandwiches are carefully prepared by the lovely, local owners and they are FABULOUS!!! They also have an impressive array of Armenian dishes which are OUTSTANDING!!! I love that the wine, beer, and liquor options consist of really great options and something for everyone: well-known brands, high-end brands, unique finds, and hidden gems that are remarkably priced! I've been coming here for 10+ years and LOVE THIS PLACE and the owners! Thank you, Odey & Family, for years of great customer service, and the tastiest sandwiches, beer and wine!!! You make our Mission Hills neighborhood the treasure that it is. xo
