Credit Unions are generally less predatory than bigger banks. I recently was about to go into overdraft about $200. What Mission Fed did instead was automatically transfer the exact $$ amount needed from my savings to my checkings, so that I would have the full amount paid with a zero net. Avoided overdraft, and then replinished the savings account on my own time. Excellent bank.

Great bank, excellent App, love that they are connected with Zella quick pay as California coast is not. I like how they seem more professional to. I do wish they were open at least until 6 pm but it is what it is.

There is something TRULY INEFFICIENT about a credit union that has a BROKEN ATM machine in front of it, a line going out the front door (on the 2nd of the month-probably due to the BROKEN ATM machine!), and cannot change a $100.00 into smaller denominations without making a "deposit" and then a "withdrawal" from an account holder's account? WHO IS THE YO-YO THAT IS REQUIRING THIS? And I thought Chase was bad. . . .

LOOONG wait, and when finally up? Teller goes to grab supplies so the wait is longer. Then there's a fee to cash a check from a member. Why would anyone bank here?Companies should probably stop trying to sell people their business when their business is bad. Just a thought.

To who it may concern whoever is thinking about or contemplating about getting or becoming a member of Mission Federal credit Union pump. Your brakes is the worst little rinky-dink credit union. God created a member for seven years take a cashiers check and they don't want to cash it they want to hold it, then I am a power of attorney I deposit a check that kicked it back to pin days for me to get it. Mission bed you're screwed up f***** up little rinky-dink locally owned credit union you need to be shut down.

This review is over due, but this is for the manager at this bank I believer her name is Mayra, that happened a year ago during COVID. I hadn't used my bank account in 6 months, and brought in 5-6 checks totaling approx $6,000 (all government checks) anyways, I go in and ask if I can still cash these even though my bank account has been inactive for the last 6 months. The teller gets the manager, and the manager has the audacity to ask me why my bank account has been inactive, HOW have I been getting by for a living without using my bank account, and that most people cash there checks in right away, I told her it was none of her business, that I was saving money, and that I was receiving unemployment, and I don't need to cash my checks in right away with those government checks that I had because I'm not that desperate for money right now, it's called SAVING MONEY. That all of that information was was completely irrelevant to her anyway because I wasn't breaking a law. The level of suspicion was so disgusting and I was just appalled to be treated nothing like a customer. Sorry lady, you don't know how to save $6k but don't take it out on me

It's a hit or miss at this location. I feel if we were in a prosperous area code we'd have better service. Coin machine has been broken for the last 6 times I've come in. Stating "people come in and put in all their coins in, so it breaks", is assinine. Are coin machines not supposed to take coins and be used? Replace with a machine is Not a lemon!Atm card maker is hit and miss too. If they can print one, there's no guarantee it will work, so pathetically, we must try it on outside atm before leaving.Newsflash! People come in during their breaks, so staff accordingly.

I have been banking here for over 5 years now and will never go back to a non credit union bank. Recently came in to refinance my car loan and didn't make an appointment... it was a Friday afternoon and knew that these things can take time so wasn't even expecting it to be possible but I added my name to a waiting list to see if it was. I met with a fantastic lady named Claudia who was amazingly helpful. She explained everything and said it would totally be possible to start applying for the loan. She was very knowledgeable and I felt super confident in her to move forward with this big decision. It was such an easy process since I was an existing customer and was able just to transfer my information into the application. I had the approval within an hour and made an appointment to come back the next day to come back with the needed documents and to finalize the paperwork. From start to finish, my loan was refinanced in 24 hours... and could've been less had I been available to go in earlier! Very happy customer! One last thing... The music was the best! Both days I was there they were playing music from the early 2000's. I found it very enjoyable and brought back some good memories. Obviously shouldn't pick a bank based on their lobby music selection, just noting that whoever selects the music at this location has good taste! Haha

Credit unions are supposed to be helpful. Charging 15% to turn loose change into a deposit shouldn't be business as usual. 1. Coinstar charges less% 2. Banking institutions need coins. 3. Why all the grief? On another note, why not hire more people? Saturday is the busiest day, yet open less hours with less staff. Lots of people waiting in long lines for a lot of time. Why? Who benefits? Who is this making happy?

No point in banking with a bank who wont even refinance your loan despite no late payments of any kind in the last 3 years and non with any loan this bank sucks long lines long waits limited locations claim to value and help customers with financial stability and advice its all b.s. I will be closing my accont.

They have horrible customer service. I waited in line for 32 minutes to request a written verification of deposit. the teller verbally told me my deposit amount and then asked if I needed something else. i said yes a print out of my verification of deposi. she said it would be $6 for a bank statement. Again I said I'm not looking for a bank statement I'm looking for a verification of deposi may I have a manage? she told me to go wait back in line. 12 minutes later the manager wants to talk to me as if she is my parent "you need to be patient"...I waited 42 minutes and didn't leave with a verification of deposit. I did call customer service and was informed that they now charge $10 for each verification of deposit and their process had changed. It took that assiciate almost 25 minutes to research how the verifications are now done. I would not recommend this branch due to their lack of knowledge on their policies and they lack customer service.

Waited an hour and 10 mins before walking out. They have a wait list but for some reason they decided to skip my name. They have one banker working on a busy day, and they didn't awknowledge me sitting there, probably because they assumed I was there with somebody else because I look young.
