I will give Military Home Spot Lending a 100*. It was a pleasure working with Alan Santos during my home buying journey. He held my hand every step of the way! They definitely lived up to what they offer. I closed on my home on 10/19/2024 and I couldn't have asked for a wonderful process. Military Home Spot definitely delivered! I would recommend them to anyone who ask!

In June of 2023 my husband was working in Korea while our kids and I were living in Washington state. We were faced with an extremely tight timeline in which to find and buy a home in Maryland; hoping to have keys in hand by mid/late August. Almost the entire home buying process would need to be done virtually, often juggling communication between parties in 2 to 3 time zones. Luckily, my husband’s brother (a realtor in California) referred us to Merry Cristiani for all our lending needs. She was amazing in so many ways, so for brevity’s sake I will focus this review on her diligent communication, expertise, and caring personality. My husband and I initially reached out to Merry via text message to explain our situation and her response was immediate. She was flexible and committed to finding a time when we could Facetime together (despite the tricky time zone differences) for introductions and initial questions. After that call, Merry charged full speed ahead: gathering our information and documents as needed, checking in with us often as we virtually searched for homes, and continuing to respond promptly to our many texts and emails. She also was great at communicating directly with our realtor as needed as well. There is a reason Merry is listed in my contacts as “Loan Guru” (paired with the fire emoji)...because she KNOWS HER STUFF! This is our second time buying a home, yet my eyes still glazed over when discussing the paperwork, timelines, and numbers involved with the whole process. Merry was so patient and willing to explain (often more than once) answers to any questions we posed. She helped us gameplan a realistic price range to stick to that would allow us to meet our long term monthly budget. Her confident professionalism and wealth of knowledge and experience put my mind at ease. I could fully trust in her ability to complete her job without feeling the need to ‘keep tabs’ on her progress. She and her company were able to process all paperwork virtually and complete everything in a shorter timeframe than typically offered by lenders- which was essential for procuring our home in time. Above all else, Merry demonstrated her caring personality through humor and positivity which brought levity to this very stressful and chaotic time for my family. She even checked in with us a few times after we moved into our new home and sent us a thoughtful housewarming gift. I seriously can’t recommend Merry enough!

This company is the greatest!Sabrina and her team went over and beyond to help me get my Loan for our House! I just finished closing on a house Friday and words can't express the joy I feel...Amari Smith is by far the greatest, she gave me the advice I needed to improve my score, she advised me on whether or not a home I was considering would be a good deal or not and she was in my corner every step of the way up to closing...Amari never treated me as a client but as a friend and she was always available when I had questions so by all means I would recommend Military Home Spot Lending and Amari Smith to any veteran who is looking to purchase a home. I tried to work a loan application with Joshua DeLeon but apparently he was too busy too answer my calls or my emails. Being a military active duty and dealing with companies that says they know how to work VA Loan when in reality they don’t is a really struggle for military people. In their tik tok add is states that don’t ask for minimum credit score but priority is not something that this company gives when it comes middle class active duty soldiers.

I been working with Joshua Deleon for above 6-12 months from initial call when I was curious and told me about how they operate. At first I thought I wouldn't qualify because of my credit and he said that won't effect me and he did not lie and I was approved for way more than I thought.From start to finish he was very helpful. Walking me through every step of the way. I don't even know how many times I called and texted him for the most minor detail of the loan and never hesitated to answer or get back to me within the next few hours. Once I found a house he was on top of everything and even estimated everything within a penny of what everything would cost all the way to the payments a hour after I texted him the details of the house and price. If anyone has a chance to work with him he will not disappoint and will go above and beyond to help you get into a great home!

Very energetic people. No complaints other then if you go through a bankruptcy don't believe anyone who tells you you can get an approval after 1 year of discharge. I personally fell for this by MHL and was disappointed when I was told I had to wait an additional year.

For the longest time, I have been told by other lenders my credit was not good enough to qualify for a loan. I've made mistakes with credit. Being young and in the Army, especially during a war time environment, you don't think about tomorrow you live for today. Amari Smith and her team made my dreams come true. They worked hard when others wouldn't, and I credit them for the amazing house I have today. From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank her and the entire team for making my dreams a reality. Hands down the best customer service and experience I have had from any lender. They really treat their veterans and families with special care.
