if you don’t like home goods made from plastic and particleboard, I highly recommend going to mid-century modern. Their selection is amazing—from large pieces of furniture to lighting, art, accessories. And the wood pieces are just that: wood. I was thrilled to find American made living room, dining room, and bedroom furniture of high quality.
The customer service cannot be beat. The owners were patient with my millions of questions and happy to provide all the information about the items available.

I love shopping at the Mid Century store. Dan & Blake are awesome, they are always courteous with a smile on there faces. There prices are great and have an awesome selection. I like to go and check out there new items at least once a month. I love my new swivel pink chair. I also purchased a beautiful Broyhill room divider.

LOVE this store, the guys running it are so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Scored a beautiful Broyhill Brasilia credenza from them at a fantastic price, and a walnut side table. Inventory is always changing so there's always treasures to find and the prices are super reasonable.

My boyfriend and I absolutely love this place! The two owners are always so sweet and accommodating, willing to help us find exactly what we’re looking for. We always find such unique pieces for some great prices! For sure recommend this spot for both the customer service and furniture!

Incredible experience every time i set foot in this store. Blake (owner) is a wealth of knowledge and quite hospitable. After years of coming here, my fiance and I pulled the trigger on the perfect dining table. Were thrilled and will be coming back here for more to add to our home

Top notch experience; from window shopping to purchase, Blake was extremely knowledgeable and kind. He not only gave us a discount, but helped us load the dresser into our vehicle. Gave us his card, and said we can reach out with any questions at all (maintenance, etc.)
10/10 experience. Even if you're not in the market for furniture, it's absolutely worth walking through the store - some really great/unique pieces available!

Mid Century Store is a wonderful place for finding unique and affordable furniture and home decor. We bought a coffee table, lamp and side table to furnish our home and not only was the experience was very positive, with friendly staff and fun things to look at, but the items have added a unique element to our home that you couldn’t find at CB2 or some other chain. Every thing is in good condition and good taste.

Dan and Blake are wonderful!! And their store is amazing! My partner and I have purchased several pieces from them, including a complete midcentury glass set for our wedding (plus cake pedestal) and many furniture pieces for our bedroom, as well as lamps for the house and nursery. And, chairs, an armoire…so yeah, a lot, and I’m forgetting some things. Their knowledge of the furniture genre, care for the items and for the client, and attention to detail and personal need/interest are truly impressive! A month does not go by without us being back in their shop to share life stories and to see the next incredible piece they have to offer. Please stop in if only to look. You’ll be glad you did!

I could spend hours diving into all of the beautifully curated furnishings at this location. Today, I scored a stunning fully restored tension floor lamp. The staff is always incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and flexible. Definitely my favorite vintage shop in San Diego.

what an awesome store great furniture and furnishings. Excellent selections from lamps , tables . The store had a brass table that came from India thats gonna make my place pop with envy. I will shop here for my crib . Great knowledge and friendly sales staff .
