- I’ve had food here once, and it was quite good. However, it would be so much better if Mesa Liquor & Wine Co. transformed into a deli/bar/lounge area instead of just a convenience store and deli. This combo would create a more inviting atmosphere where people could relax, enjoy their meals, and socialize. It has the potential to be a great spot for the community to gather and enjoy good food and drinks. Thanks
While Mesa Liquor & Wine Co. offers an alright selection, I can't help but wish it would transform into a full deli store instead of a liquor store. My friends and family love the idea of having a place where we can sit around and enjoy some good food together with our kids.
We often talk about how great it would be to have a full deli here, serving fresh sandwiches, salads, and other deli favorites. The potential is definitely there, and it would make this place a local hotspot for casual dining and socializing and family friendly.
It would truly enhance the experience and bring in more customers who are looking for a friendly, community-oriented place to eat and relax especially those moving in to new condos like me and need a chill spot.

Mesa Liquor Store is I believe the best liquor store in San Diego County. I am a San Diego local “born & raised” 59 years now, plus my business allows me to drive all over this county…so yeah I think I know a great place when I find one.
The liquor “spirits” selection is amazing ya gotta see it to believe it. A huge variety of snacks to choose from.
Let me not forget about the famous sandwiches they create. Knockout Deli New York. Freaking incredible!!! Don’t take my word for it just drop by I promise you won’t regret it. The whole store is worth checking out.
I saved the best for last… Mike!!! Personable amazing guy who will guide you through the huge selections of liquor and wines they offer and he has a way with with folks. Don’t forget to ask for Mike!!

Larsa is the best! She is always pleasant, efficient and proffessional. I have lunch there every day because of her! And the food is very filling and excellent. I usually get the barbecue box. It comes in ham, chicken and roast beef. Sandwich, drink, chips and side dish. An excellent lunch for only $15.00

I have come here a few times in recent months after hearing it had some obscure IPAs that were not available in many other stores. I'm not going back again. The clerk who works at night is hostile and unpleasant. Tonight he gave me a hard time because he said the store was closed and I should not still be in it. It was 8:45 PM. According to the sign on the door and on the store website, it is supposed to be open until 9 PM. Unfriendly and lazy is not a good combination in an employee, especially someone who has to deal with the public. But he's probably the boss or related to the owner. Bonus unpleasantness: he gave me a hard time for trying to pay for $8 of beer with a $100 bill. As soon as he did, I offered to pay with a credit card instead. He did not acknowledge at all that I had tried to help him out. Just remained curt and unfriendly. Goodbye, jerk.

One of the best pastrami sandwiches in town. Huge selection! Plus they have a huge assortment of beers, craft beers and liquor.

Excellent service, clean deli inside a liquor store. Lots of options from deli sandwiches to chicken clubs and soups. Several deals with a drink and bag of chips. Seating inside as well.

I honestly would have never thought about coming here but thanks to a four hour wait at Pacific Honda and Yelp, I got curious. This deli is located inside the liquor store and is surprisingly bright, clean and inviting; not my usual expectation when I walk into a liquor store. I had the chicken club which is a hot sandwich with marinated chicken breast, bacon, cucumber, onion, tomato and lettuce on sourdough. It was AMAZING. The bread was nice and toasty without it hurting the top of your mouth and everything was just so flavorful and fresh. Normally, I stay away from chicken sandwiches as the meat can get really dry and tough, but not this one. 10/10 would come here again.

Disclaimer: This is not a review of the store itself, just the actions of the owner/operators of the store regarding the parking lot.They have purposely unmarked spaces across from the business and a predatory tow company on call. If you actually don't want people to park there, properly mark the spots. My source is that the owner of this business was listed as the claimant on the tow invoice.

Bomb !! I wasn't going to write a review because I don't want this place to be slammed when I come here on my lunch break but , it's delicious! Hands down my new favorite sandwich shop. Delicious fresh bread and good portion of meats .

Terrible. Owner was very rude. The parking spaces outside are unmarked and was very rude to people who parked in UNMARKED spots adjacent to his jank store.
