“Summer concerts in the park at Carmel Mountain Plaza are a relaxing and fun way to meet your neighbors. The band sets up on the sidewalk in front of Barnes and Noble. There is outside seating (tables/chairs/umbrellas/retaining wall) but many bring their own folding chairs or picnic blankets (for the grass). It's an enjoyable evening eating a picnic dinner, listening to the music and watching the sunset. Some are even moved to dance on the impromptu dance floor on the sidewalk.”
“This was my first purchase from Roark (women's line). For me the number one reason I return to an online store is their customer service. Not knowing how the sizing ran I went with the models measurements along with my normal sizing. I purchased a jacket and a few other items for a trip this week. I paid for two day shipping so I would receive items in time. The small was a tad too small and needed M. I spoke to customer service online which responded right away. I was able to exchange and receive before my trip this week. I will definitely be purchasing other awesome items from Roark. The women's line is awesome!”

“I absolutely LOVE how soft the T-Shirts are and I own a couple of colors in both the women and men’s styles. The men’s shirts are perfect for a chic, loose fit style that you can tuck into pants or a skirt, and the women’s shirts are great for an everyday classic feminine look that you can pair with jeans or trousers. I recently purchased their Hayden denim pants which come in a straight leg vintage wash. Denim and jeans are tricky for curvy women with hips, but I found their Size 26 to be a dream fit for my curves. The length is perfect for short women under 5’4” since it sits right at the base of my ankles, but these jeans would also look great on taller women where the cut is cropped or bootcut. If I only had one pair of jeans in the world that I could wear, I would wear the Hayden’s everyday. They’re a durable weight, but also so versatile and easy for me to move in, dance in, cook in, and wear from morning to night. I absolutely love that Rowan’s clothes are all made in USA. When it comes to shopping, I value high quality, well tailored, pieces that I can wear throughout every season and occasion of life and Rowan’s pieces are that.You can really feel the care and attention on the make of their clothes and that’s also reflected in their customer service and brand values. Nick, at Rowan UTC, was so helpful and had a lot of knowledge on the fit, design, and brand story that I purchased some more t-shirts to pair with my Hayden’s. Casie, the manager, who was wearing a pair of Hayden’s, provided great feedback on the fit and also recommended sizes that would make my curves look great. I only wish that these jeans would come in more washes! But I look forward to shopping here again because of their exceptional, well-made classic pieces and awesome customer service. ?”
