The staff here were absolutely amazing!!! One of them helped me find jeans that I liked, and then when I wasn't sure about the cut, found the version I wanted on the website for me and helped me deliver directly to my house. Even though they were final sale, she made it clear if the jeans didn't fit right I could come back and return them. The jeans arrived and fit perfectly- exactly what I wanted!! They really went above and beyond :D

Called the store to ask a question & spoke with Shannon. She was able to take care of everything over the phone. This far exceeded my expectations. She was more than happy to help and I couldn’t stop thanking her for her excellent customer service.

Kristal was absolutely phenomenal. I came in after seeing a TikTok (Tanner Leatherstein) about the high quality of the leather in their bags. I knew I wanted to leave with one, but I couldn’t decide what would be the best piece to kick off my Madewell leather journey with! Luckily Kristal was there to hear my thoughts, and to offer her genuine advice in return. I left with a gorgeous new Sydney bag in the perfect shade of spring green, as well as a little lavender leather pouch to go with it that happened to be on sale! This experience brought a ray of sunshine to what was otherwise a gloomy day. Thanks again, Kristal & team at Madewell UTC! I look forward to my next purchases with you.

Had a wonderful experience few days ago. Bough an amazing pair of jeans and T-shirts, selection was great and store associates were very patience and helpful (I had to shop with my 2 little kids). Excited for new spring collection and will come back soon.

Was almost $40 overcharged after looking at the receipt. I bought a lot so didn't notice at first, but price on the receipt was $20 more than on the price tag on the actual shirt. They brought wrong size for the shoes than I requested and just vanished so I couldn't ask for replacement. Cashier was very unfriendly and unorganised. For the prices you charge- please do better.

I really like Madewell's collection of t shirts, necklaces, and obviously clothing. I order online for almost all of my pieces because of the sales that are offered more than the store itself. This rating is for the UTC store. It's selection is generous and offer a sale on select items in back area for a fair price. The staff keeps to themselves for the most part, so if you like time to yourself, it's nice to know you won't be overly asked for what it is you're looking for. The employees also can be a bit standoffish tho, which is interesting because they seem to be busy making the store looking nice. All in all, it's a great brand.

I ordered Madewell Jeans from the their website and had it delivered to the store in La Jolla location. Grace Seng, the store manager was really helpful, sweet :) and knowledgeable about the products. Fantastic customer service! I would love to come back here again! (Whenever they decided to carry mens stuff) Strongly recommended!

I love Madewell but got nothing today and had a very good sized gift card! I felt they were between seasons and had nothing I could not live without. I am also over jegging skinny jeans because I enjoy breathing. Still love Madewell, five stars for life!

I used to work at a Madewell for years and know a lot about the brand and their customer service philosophy. I went in on a Wed night and about 10 min before close, they turned the music off, which we were never allowed to do until at least 10-15 AFTER store closing (it’s meant to make the customer hurry up and get out lol). So obviously it’s kinda rude and not good service. But it’s a very well organized store, great visual standards!
