He did a fantastic job with my 65 twin , it sounds excellent !!!!I cranked it up today to just 7 and probably caused earthquakes in El Centro :D !!very quick turn around also.

Lyle is a great guy. Excellent and thorough repairs and is very upfront with the cost and what exactly he will be doing. Super friendly, knowledgeable and works quickly but with precision. I can not recommend this guy enough. Id give more stars if I could!

Absolutely phenomenal service, responsiveness and work. My amp sounds exceptional, work was done ahead of schedule and for a great price. You couldn't ask for more and I am completely happy and will have all my work done at Lone Wolf. This brought a family heirloom Fender tube amp back to life that belonged to my father. This was a beautiful Fender Supersonic 22 but had been gigged with some heavy use from a professional musician and meant a tremendous amount to me. Best amp repair in San Diego, PERIOD. Any comments about lack of professionalism are completely surprising to me, my interaction was impeccable and my standards are pretty high as a person in an executive position running a large organization.

Called and asked for two guitar speaker repairs and he basically told me he had no idea how to fix them and gave me the number to a sketchy guy fixing speakers out of his basement very unprofessional.

Anyone know what happened to Lyle? The best amp tech, anywhere ... web site says he stopped accepting customers back in Sept 2020. What a shame - Lyle is a genius.

Lone Wolf was recommended to me by a friend to have my Carvin repaired and I coukdn't be happier. Not only was the work completed quickly, it was done very well. My amp now sounds better than I've ever heard it, and Lyle also cleaned all the pots and got my built-in reverb working again. Pricing is very reasonable for the quality of work
