Stopped-in to repair broken sunglasses that weren't even prescription lenses. I was told the frame was fragile and the attempted repair may actually break the glasses but they'd do their best--and they did! I think Mark was the tech on duty and the gentleman out front was super helpful, also. Kudos! Glasses repaired like new in just a few minutes. Thank you!!

Doctor is very good, but retail store is a different story, can never get them to respond in a timely manner. 3 weeks waiting for my trial contacts and they can’t seem to find the order.

I've been going here for a number of years and the service and care is great! Robin did a fantastic job of helping me get my glasses replaced under the extended care warrantee when they broke. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for easy and good eye care!

Manager is rude and sarcastic. I paid for glasses and had an issue with the prescription. I went in for help, it was a little busy but I didn’t mind waiting. After feeling they were not able to help me for a while, I asked the cashier when it would be a better time to come back…. then the manger who was not part of the conversation said “YOU CAN COME BACK IN JANUARY!!!!!!”. She was Very hostile and rude the whole time. She came to the computer to look up my prescription, asked me a few questions and said I need come back. I asked her if my prescription changed from last time she said” IT IS NOT FAIR TO HELP YOU, THAT MAN HAS BEEN WAITING FOR AN HOUR!!!!”. I was confused with her attitude because she was the one who came over to help me. I went back today (Saturday ) for a refund and there was no one in the store (the month is still Dec not Jan). I will never go there again… worse experience.

Caution-I did my eye exam and purchased glasses which were two very different experiences.Eye exam: This was fantastic and quick the doctor was wonderful easy. Just routine exam nothing new.Buying glasses:I got new frames and lenses with transitions. They came within a week and upon putting them on I could tell something was immediately wrong. The prescription was so much stronger I was so confused. I mentioned it immediately and they instead of checking the prescription their doctor prescribed, they compared it to my current pair. Came back and told me “oh yeah you had a big jump in your prescription”… I mentioned that I don’t recall the doctor saying that but okay and tried to get used to these strong lenses for 10days. I could not! It hurt so bad and was so hard to work with. So I bring them back mentioning I don’t think this is right. So again instead of checking the prescription I get booked for an eye recheck with the doctor. ALL OF THIS IS IN THE SAME PLACE! I show up for the exam when a manager comes over to tell me it’s going to cost 25$ which no one at any point had mentioned that before! So I agree to pay it and see the eye doctor again. The doctor rechecks my eyes, my old glasses and the previous/current prescription. All of them are the exact same my eyes haven’t changed in years. He checks the new glasses order and for some reason the team that places the order did it wrong and put a massive error on my prescription glasses.So not only was I gas lit into believing my prescription was new and my eyes were worse. I wore the wrong prescription for 10days straining and trying to adjust to something not all meant for me and paid 25$ to confirm they messed it all up! I was given a credit of 50$ so my 25 back plus 25 for a mess up that could have truly damaged not only my vision but safety as well!Fast forward- they “replace” my glasses by ordering the correct lenses for my glasses- but they did not change out the frame! So the frame is extremely loose and won’t hold on to my face! These are Oakley frames! So they don’t hook around your ears they are meant to be tight to your head and these aren’t even close! So now I have to take them back again after only having for a day!Save yourself the headache! Find another places to get glasses.

Awful service! Haughty, rude and unhelpful. Don’t misplace your prescription, this outfit will not lift a finger to email it to you or to the optical store of your choice that needs the prescription to make your lenses. This store has lost the business of our family and friends forever. You have many options, don’t waste your money in this store or with these opticians.

I really appreciated Ryne's customer service and energy. He was so welcoming and attentive from the start. My family and I made the trip to the Rancho Carmel LensCrafters store, after a disheartening experience at their UTC branch, where we were disappointed by the quality of customer service and the lack of care that the employees there showed us and to other customers.Ryne was not only wonderful with his people skills, but he also had incredible knowledge and insight in optometry as well. He provided us with excellent options that fulfilled our needs, all while being extremely patient and providing us with a sense of comfort that he was in no rush and wanted us to be 100% happy.My family and I really praise Ryne for his superb work ethic and overall persona. As a result, we will be making the Rancho Carmel Dr LensCrafters our new home store.Thanks Ryne!!

I was at the Carmel Mt. LensCrafters after accidentally popping the lens out of my frame. I was helped by Nick, who was very helpful, professional, courteous and fixed the problem quickly.I highly recommend this location.

The doctors are very knowledgeable especially when it comes to describing any issues, super kind, and beyond helpful! The staff are amazing! Best experience getting an eye exam and glasses! I highly recommend this location! You will be taken care of!
