Great group of employees who are courteous and knowledgeable. Friendly environment and a true pleasure to do business here. They have a large variety of ammo for reasonable prices and have a wide range of accessories. Highly recommend.

They overcharge for ammunition. I was told they have more of a selection than Big 5. It was around the same for more money.

LAX Ammunition Store has outrageous prices and their customer service is abysmal. The staff is unhelpful and rude, leaving customers feeling frustrated and undervalued. Combine this with their exorbitant prices and it's a recipe for disappointment. There are plenty of other stores with better prices and friendly service, so I would steer clear of LAX Ammunition Store.

ZERO STARS - WORST AMMO PRICES EVER! BOYCOTT THIS DISGUSTING PLACE! I was looking for 9mm ammo and decided to stop in while I was in San Diego. Holy crap was I shocked and disgusted when I saw the in-store prices! In-store prices are just about DOUBLE the online prices. I was totally disgusted with the prices - $230 for 500 and $420 for 1000 is almost DOUBLE what I am currently paying! Absolutely RIDICULOUS prices. Better to shop at Big5, Turner's, or Sportsman's Warehouse. Or even better online at velocityammosales.com, bereli.com, or targetsportsusa.com - 9mm at these places is around $240 for 1000. I'll never trust LAX. Shame on LAX Ammunition - please BOYCOTT this place and save (A LOT of) money shopping elsewhere.

This is your best bet for a one stop shop that has the best prices on ammo in San Diego. They also keep a huge inventory so you can almost always pickup what you are looking for!

Do not go off the website. The prices are extraordinarily more. Just be prepared to pay. It is kinda like a bait and switch with the prices.

We are lucky to have not one but two LAX Ammunition locations in SD County. This is hands down the best place to buy in bulk. They carry anything and everything you need in every different caliber. I get weekly email updates with the current sales and bulk buy promotions. I can't walk into this store without leaving with a full cart of well-priced boxes. Buyer beware: If you go here you will be hooked. Great people serving and protecting your rights as law-abiding, God-fearing, Americans.

Never had any problems with their in-house ammo "Freedom Munitions". No hick ups or anything. Good place for ammo for a reasonable price.

I used to visit the store in LA but have moved to San Diego recently. First of all what other people have posted regarding the in store price difference being higher than the online price is true. In the past it was not as obvious but now looking at their website it is clearly stated. The staff were friendly and helpful. The amount of ammo and types of ammo was plentiful. They had some harder to find cartridges. Pricing wise they are unfortunately not competitive with other local stores. To get an idea they are selling re-manufactured ammo at the same price other stores are selling brand new ammo.

The crew at LAX AMMO are solid people, helping you out with all your ammo needs. From 22 to 50bmg weather you spend $20 or $2000 on ammo they treat all customers with respect and will bend over backwards to make sure you get what you want. They also have cases (really nice cases) target's, cleaning gear, it's all there. The only place I will purchase my ammoStephen Henderson

I went in this morning, i bought 1000 rounds of 357 magnum ammo and 500 /40 caliber rounds. Normal retailers sell 357 magnum rounds for about a dollar a round roughly. The 357 ammo box i got was $700 bucks. Almost 300 rounds were free through a whole sale type environment. Definitely my go to place.
