Been coming here for awhile now. Not sure what happened but since summer it has gone down hill. Some days you wait in line then get rushed out the door for whatever reason, others i guess you are free to browse other products that may become an impulse buy. Would have bought a large stock today for my range day tomorrow, however i guess i just looked like the guy who wanted the cheapest stuff possible. Grabbed a few boxes so i didnt waste their time so i wouldnt be that guy. Went a few blocks over and got what i needed at the big box.

Used to be my favorite place for ammo, but lately I have noticed that the shelves are pretty empty. Either they aren't being stocked properly, or there is a sale and I didn't see sale signs. My guess is the employees there leaning on the counter on their phones rather than actually stocking the shelves is the issue. That kind of stuff should be passed down from management, but I digress. I can't buy what I don't see and when I ask if there is any stock a get kind of an eye roll and sigh. Kind of a bummer I will need to go elsewhere for a while until things change.

Solid overall selection at this location. Prices are reasonable don’t expect any crazy deals unless you’re buying their factory ammo or reloads. Staff were professional and upfront with pricing. Reminder don’t go off their website pricing.

Hands down the best retail prices for ammunition. You just can’t beat their quality company manufactured reloads, especially for common calibers.
Came in the other day for 9mm and Brenden helped me out. If you’re not aware, here in Kalifornia we now have to pay an extra fee for a background check for ammunition (which must match with your DOJ firearms information). Anyways, Brenden helped me out, unfortunately I had some unknown issue with my check clearing the database. He helped me to figure out the issue (really a non issue), and turned me on to the company’s target reloads and their home defense ammo (not reloads). This is one of those local places you want to support to keep them in the political fight so we can preserve what’s left of our 2A rights in California.

Great group of employees who are courteous and knowledgeable. Friendly environment and a true pleasure to do business here. They have a large variety of ammo for reasonable prices and have a wide range of accessories. Highly recommend.

They overcharge for ammunition. I was told they have more of a selection than Big 5. It was around the same for more money.

LAX Ammunition Store has outrageous prices and their customer service is abysmal. The staff is unhelpful and rude, leaving customers feeling frustrated and undervalued. Combine this with their exorbitant prices and it's a recipe for disappointment. There are plenty of other stores with better prices and friendly service, so I would steer clear of LAX Ammunition Store.
