Wonderful shop, beautiful variety of art by local artists, special hand screened items such as hand towels and more, there are ceramics and jewelry etc. you just have to go to experience the charm of the place and unique items for yourself!

We first met Valentine last Fall during design week, when she gave silk-screening demos. Walking into her studio for the first time, I knew she took great pride in ensuring her work and the artists she represents were of the most creative and stunning work made by SD based artists. This last week we visited her studio once again, as I needed to stock up on birthday presents. Again there was a fantastic selection of ceramics, jewelry, etc, and her own designs for dish towels. This is a must visit place for unique/quality art.

Valentines is so great! I found her gallery on Instagram, she has a very unique way to present her artists. She showcases her artists and talks about their work in a very personal manner which really caught my eye. I visited her gallery and had to have a landscape painting which I fell in love with. I will be back to buy more. I highly recommend this gallery!

I hate this place. There are so many beautiful and creative and interesting things that I want to spend my entire paycheck here. The owner is such a pleasure to talk to that I always stay longer than planned and arrive late to wherever I was supposed to be next. I wish I’d never found it. But since I have, I go all the time. Why, oh why, does it have to be so great?

That's exactly that we were missing here in SD. Valentine is the vibrant French spirit that energizes you from the moment you meet her. So talented and experienced Artist. Not only her paintings are incredible, she also give amazing classes (silk screen, indigo, embroidery...) and is specialist in wall textures, and is well known here.Imagine someone with lots of knowledge and amazing positive energy.I had an indigo class and simply loved. The class was completely hands on but sure under her supervision but made truly learn something really cool and unique.Now her and her husband opened a cute coffee shop side by side what makes more special tô stop by.Oh I almost forgot, I love the earrings she hand made and candles and unique gifs that you cannot find elsewhere. This was my secret place but I had to share here.
