Really great shop! The owner is kind and helpful, and the prices and items are amazing. The shop across the street is criminally expensive, in comparison. Come here instead!

I've seen the negative reviews of this spot and I don't get it. We browsed around on a Sunday afternoon as the vendors outside were wrapping up. We all grabbed a few treats, went to the counter, and paid. The gentleman behind the counter answered all of our questions and we were on our way.

Don't come here! When I came with my son we just wanted to see what candies they had. We didn't really see anything that we wanted so we decided to leave but a lady (I believe to be the owner) accused us of stealing. When we showed her that we didn't have anything from the store we thought we would at least get an apology for the wrong accusation especially since my son was there but she then said " It's not my fault you guys look suspicious" this is what really drove me to write this review since we are men of color.

I recently had a disappointing experience here. The level of customer service in this establishment is shockingly bad to say the least. From the moment I walked in, I felt unwelcome. The staff treated me as if I was there to steal rather than to make a purchase. The level of suspicion was not only uncomfortable but downright rude! I was met with cold stares and unwanted hostility. What shocked me even more was the outright yelling from the older "lady" that according to her she is the owner ! It's unacceptable for a business to treat customers this way. I strongly advise for potential customers to think twice before going in to this store. I hope, by you reading this you are spared by the mistreatment.

This place blatantly accused me of taking photos in front of their store while standing on a public sidewalk, and simply waiting for my son to come out of a public restroom. They ignorantly assumed that I knew the other "Asian" woman who was standing across the street taking the "photos." The staff here demonstrated pure ignorance, prejudice, and at just plain bullies. No need to support an unwelcoming business. Such as disappointment.

The most amazing little shop with a great variety of authentic Mexican candies. Prices are great and candy is delicious! Got a blanket as well and it’s my favorite! They have lots of signs for Dulcerías in this area, but by FAR this one is the BEST! The man was so nice and had the best customer service. Coming from NC for conference, we visited lots of little shops and was my favorite!! Would love to know if they will ship their goods my way! :)

Super rude owner, not tolerant of children or people in the store really. I never leave reviews but she was so rude and mocked us as we left. Enjoy at your own risk.

I had an awful experience here. Two ladies (who I assume are related) were very mean and rude to my sister and I while browsing. I was looking at the beautiful pots they have displayed and wanted to take a photo to send to my boyfriend. I totally missed the signs that said no photos , a lady approached me very rudely and aggressively and told me "no photos" as she pointed to the sign. I said sorry I didn't see it and proceeded to the next shop next door. At the next shop I was telling my sister how taken aback I was by how mean the lady was to me. ( it's not what she said it's how she said it). The other lady working in this store very rudely stated "I think her being the owner gives her that right". I told her of course I understand why they want no photos but that I didn't see the sign and it doesn't hurt to be nice. I am completely unsure why they acted the way they did but both these women seem like they hate their lives and their jobs. And quite frankly they don't seem to be very nice people. Don't go here unless you want terrible service and bad attitudes.

My in law bought a hammock from here and the material was way too soft because when we laid on it we would sink and be on the floor. So we went to return it and the man said he doesn't do returns so we asked if we could exchange for something else because of the poor quality of the material of their hammocks and he said no. The only thing he exchanged for was a smaller hammock than the one we had bought and it was the same thing as the first one that would sit all the way to the ground. Do not buy things at this shop if you are not 100% sure that it is what you need or want.

Do not support this small business. They will take your money. I was just here with my two friends and my friend paid cash for her item. She placed the money on the counter as the owner asked change and as my friend was getting change -- he took her money and said that she never paid!!!! Worst customer service ever. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS SMALL BUSINESS!
