Pros: Pretty decent ice rink, unusual in that it has windows so you can enjoy some natural light. It's not super packed whenever I've gone. Cons: The person at the front desk is usually a young kid who seems annoyed that they have to help you. The rental skates are really really bad, figure and hockey both.

It is good to see young people being involved with each other and learning to be a team player

Love the place. They offer ice skating lessons for both kids and adults. After our first visit, I signed my son up for a class, 12 lessons and 12 guest passes for $288. I have recommended the class to several friends. They all signed up immediately. My son and I very much look forward to more skating fun.

I've been a member for almost 20 years, but I'm now actively looking at other gyms. The new fitness manager shows no interest in what many members want, instead going through with his own ideas and creating programs for a clientele that doesn't come to the Kroc Center. He's gotten rid of body pump and zumba and moved cycling to a very inconvenient location so he could have a bigger office. He only cares about people willing to pay for private lessons and for other fitness fanatics in their 20s and 30s. Kroc is no longer a good place for older members seeking physical activity, not Marine boot camp. Sad that an organization which touts itself as a place for the community is now disregarding what a significant portion of their members want.

1st time playing hockey in over four years. Did skate and shoot. Great rink, you can tell it's well maintained. Going to look into adult league for 2024.

My son has been receiving ice skating lessons here weekly. It’s a great environment and very family friendly. The staff is helpful and kind. I do wish the classes were easier to access online, but they are quick to answer questions in person and through e-mail.

I had heard about the Salvation Army for years but never knew they had a gym location until I drove by this one and wondered what it was. For this review I'll be sharing specifically about the comp pool, locker room, and weight and workout area. Comp pool is the location where you can swim laps. The pool in my opinion is really well taken care. It's not too heavily chlorine filled In my opinion either. Water is always crisp, clean, never see any debris or bugs floating. Water is also always kept to a nice 72-75 degrees from what I was told. Dive boards are usually not able to be used. There are outdoor showers available as well as showers in locker room so that you can shower before entering the pool. Lames 1-3 are usually the only lanes that are available due to the fact that the CAST swim team practices there almost everyday. And them don't forget water polo, swim lessons, etc all happen throughout the week. So if you are a 4-7pm swimmer each day like me... it can be difficult to really get a lane at all or you'll have to share a lane but that's if you go at that time!! If you go outside those times.. you will probably have a larger availability (: This can be frustrating, BUT this is also a community center. To complain about lack of lanes is kind of unfair. Swim lessons, swim team practices, are beneficial for our community, if KROC center can't be available for those things just to open more lanes for other swimmers .. it takes away from what our community does need. So as it can be hard to find a lane for my own personal workout.. I see the other side of the picture. So I make it work! If this is something that really is an inconvenience to you than maybe this gym isn't for you (: Locker rooms are decently upkept and cleaned! It's obvious that the KROC center is old and needs updating.. but hey you can't have it all? And the monthly payments really make it worth it for a family budgeting. You get what you pay for and that's not fancy stuff! And that's fine with me. Workout room and weight room is alittle small In my opinion. But I didn't join for the workout and weight room so I'm not mad about it. Overall, I have been thoroughly enjoying my membership. Everyone is really like and helpful and the other gym goers that I've met there are also just ad kind and friendly. It's a nice place to build community. In the future when my daughter is older, I look forward to bringing her. .

We was on ice center because my son had a hokey game. The game was unfair, referee didn't do his job. Ice was not frozen enough. We were here twice, and twice referee were bad. I don't recommend skate here.

The Salvation Army Kroc Center is a fantastic gym. It has a weight room, a gymnasium, a swimming pool, a recreation pool, a therapy pool, a sports field with playground equipment, and an ice rink. The Kroc center has a team of trainers that are experienced, knowledgeable, and really nice. The trainers offer both personal training and teach group classes. My favorite thing about the Kroc center is the variety of different exercise equipment available. If I want to swim today and take a class tomorrow or take a class and then swim after the class I can. Or I can lift weights. Whatever I want to do!!
