Serendipity. My wife and I had guests from Merida Mexico. They travel and dine all over the world. We were taking them to a Lebanese restaurant here in San Diego (Aladdin) that lets you bring in beer and wine but they don't serve it. I went to Hoppy Wine and Spirits and spoke with Matthew Koro, the owner. He picked two bottles for us--a Daou Cabernet and a Serial Cabernet from Paso Robles. We had both with dinner. Our friends couldn't believe how good they were--and how well they went with the food. They couldn't stop talking about them. Thank you, Matthew!--great choice.

Nice selection of beers including many local breweries. There's a walk in cooler with 4 packs, 6 packs, and cases. Matthew is a good guy, friendly and helpful. Made a bunch of recommendations and even carried the full box of beers to my car!

Love their beer fridge section. A ton of unique styles, so much to choose from. Price on each can, so helpful. Could stare at the fridges for hours. It's like a toy store for beer lovers. The signage in front of the cool metal hop is pretty badass too. Friendly service!

Charged me a $0.50 cent fee to use a credit card and didn't even tell me, this is for a $2.00 drink. Very shady, don't go here.

Pretty friendly people working here, but the beer is OLD. IPAs from a year back should have been removed. Probably OK to get your wine, spirits and stouts from here though.

ABSOLUTE BEST SELECTION of whatever drink selection you desire! Check it out! I found green apple Cidral!!! 3 diff Topo Chico flavors...Mexican Pepsi!!!

Good selection of beer, more than the other stores near by. The beer cave has a great selection too. Some of their single can beers have been sitting a long time. I see ipas from 8 months ago, that are surely past their prime. It seems expensive compared to other craft single beer shops but it is great for the area.

Love the beverage options here! ? They have plenty of IPA options and sour ales and all that good stuff. But it is pricey. But if your in that area you'll see there's not many places for spirits around their with the variety they have. Stay blessed ✌

Hidden gem with a number of specialty beers and liquors! The selection is phenomenal but so are the wonderful employees. What a wonderful alternative to a big chain. I will definitely support this small business

Broke haters on this feed, not fair for a small business. If you are looking for quality California beers, you're at the right place. Look up their Full Circle Pineapple Whip ILLA and their Hazy Scandal IPA and change my mind.

SEVERAL times I’ve came here and bought expired snacks and EVERYTIME I go to exchange it for the same product not expired come to find out the whole stock of the item is expired this has happened to my daughter and myself on multiple occasions. Maybe when the workers have down time they should check expiration dates it would be very APPRECIATED

Beware on SEVERAL occasions I have bought expired snacks from this store then had to take them back hoping to exchange for the same product( not expired)then come to find out the entire stock of the snack EVERYTIME was expired
