I came to this dealer from Houston, Texas to purchase a 2024 Huyndai Elantra Hybrid Limited for my daughter who is living in San Diego. We were treated with respect and the overall negotiation process was relatively quick and easy. I would definitely purchase from this dealership again in the future.

Dealership recently moved locations. Huge logistics involved. I brought my Sonata in for its 7500 mile oil change and maintenance, as well as a potential coolant leak. Told it would be 3 days until they could do the diagnostic and if there was not a leak, there would be a fee. Understandable. Car back in one day, no leak and no fee. Nice.

At least my first Hyundai sonata at the beginning of 2021 I love it it drives beautifully, it was time for its first oil change so I took it to Kearny Mesa Hyundai and was well taken care of by Mr Alton Jones. The car needed the usual oil change tire rotation fluids top top a couple of updates to the computer, and when Alton told me it should be ready within a couple of hours I was a bit skeptical but he called me two and a half hours later the car was ready it's now apart safely in my garage thanks Alton your service is great thanks Hyundai I like the car a lot

Customer service - 1 star to be nice. In reality 0 stars. No accountability or solutions. They fixed my car so that’s good.. 2 months later.. Still under warranty. Excuse after excuse. Understaffed, Hyundai won’t approve, diagnostics done days after cars are left.. they don’t switch technicians on the job unless out for an extended period. However my tech was out sick for a week. A week lost. Why wasn’t he replaced? Etc.
Definitely over Kearny Mess Hyundai. I’d rather drive elsewhere. The sales side has raving reviews! When it comes to service damn. I was granted a rental after a little over a month being without a car. Treating others how you would like to be treated does not exist here. Every experience so far has been the same.

!!!****!!! UPDATE!! UPDATE! UP FREAKIN DATE!
8/9 : last thursday my check engine light turned on. STOPPPPP I said to myself. I am not going to KM Hyundai! I’d rather drive to fricken Temecula or something. But wait… there’s EL CAJON!!! Boycotting Kearny Mesa Hyundai, I took my car down to El Cajon Hyundai. Eager for help any sort of willingness to help. They were very attentive and willing to do just so. They kept my car over the weekend and being closed with the holiday, wasn’t able to see my car until Tuesday at least. Fast forward to the next Tuesday and I get a I actually received a call and text message from a representative with El Cajon on Tuesday afternoon with an update regarding the engine. Phone call and a text?! Im sorry.. and a text?!! I’m shook. She then proceeded with a sigh and said I’m sorry but it looks like you’re going to a new engine! I explained the whole situation I went through with Kearny Mesa Hyundai and they got in contact with my warranty advisor same day and scheduled an inspector to come out and assess the situation addressed today in the morning! I got a rental which was covered under my insurance and they helped me get into that ASAP and get the situation address. It took Kearny Mesa about 2 months to do what El Cajon did in 2-3 business days. They recommended an engine teardown, which I already did with Kearny Mesa. I advise against it and to just pull my records as it was done fairly recent for this exact situation. So nuts. The vibes are just so off at the Keany Mesa location. Literally makes me so sad. We need more kind people in the world willing to help others.

Brian Wood helped me out and did an awesome job! I was able to get a fantastic deal and he helped set everything up in the car. I had a lot of questions and he was able to answer all of them. The manager, Fadi, was great as well. Awesome service and staff. Will be recommending them to all my friends and family in the area ? ?

Overall was a great experience I waited 15minutes to be greeted was only issue however Brittany came over and was quick to apologize and get me checked in efficiently. Brittany was friendly and informative and helped navigate some of the pricing I was facing and she managed to help split things up and spread the cost without compromise to my cars life which I love. I recommend Kearny Mesa over El Cajon Hyundai as the main thing is customer care and no lying or cheating. Great job Brittany
