I picked up one of Jim's ramps after an iconic Hodad's surf and skate competition in OB. Jim's guys delivered it to my house. I had to do a little work to get my ground leveled and the ramp together. Jim showed up with some skatelite, tools, and some awesome help. They slapped on the top deck and made this thing perfect.
There is no way I could have done it without him. There is an art to what he does and he is a master at it! If you, or your kids, want an awesome halfpipe for your house.... Jim is the only guy you should call to get it done!

I had the best experience with JBSR! my 12 year old son is just getting into skateboarding and there is no place to ride around where we live in New Orleans, so we looked into putting a half pipe in our backyard. Jim worked with us to come up with a custom ramp that would best work in our space within our budget and the end result blew our expectations away! I am still in awe of the level of quality and style we got and it was such a great experience seeing it get built. Jim is amazing to work with and was great with our son-he got him directly involved in the process and set it up so that we had a cool father and son moment in putting final touches on the ramp. It’s that kind of personal dedication to making a half pipe not just a ramp in our yard, but a part of our home. It looks so amazing and our son is SO STOKED!! Thanks a million, Jim!!!

Been a childhood dream of mine to have a mini ramp in my backyard since I was 10 years old. Jim Bell and his team made it a reality in the timeline we had discussed and made it look damn good too. It’s a true 3.5 H x 12 W foot with a 5 foot extension and eventually I hope to add on to my backyard skate compound and will be calling Jim again. JBSR built this mini to last and I wanted my young kids to be able to ride this for years as they grow up. Definitely worth the investment but Jim… never got my JBSR sticker man. HA!

After I found Jim Bell Skateboard Ramps on a Google search, I picked up the phone and spoke to Jim about my need for a grind box and ramp. After clearly explaining all my options, he started working. He was finished in just a few days and I was able to see an amazing, strong, and stylish product with good quality materials. Jim is a skilled and meticulous ramp builder. He built our boys a custom design to accommodate our yard size which is long but not wide. It's a half pipe with a coping hip in the middle. He is very kind and patient with kids. We live by the beach and have a steady stream of neighborhood kids roll through to leave their boards and bikes in our yard. He kept it safe (nails, wood cuttings, equipment, etc..) which I greatly appreciated. He has outstanding communication and kept us posted along the way. He truly loves his work and it shows in his approach and the final product.

Jim and his team will build a good ramp. Customer service, Communication, and over all professionalism are honestly a joke. delayed the project by over a month, while every week telling me he would be coming to finish. excuse after excuse they finally got finished after camping in my backyard for 4 nights. Then Jim promised he would discount the job by 900$, and then decided no actually I can't do that, and told me that right to my face. Do not pay in full until the ramp is finished, because your time will get played around with just like mind did. Also, I am not sure what he and his workers get up to on their lunch breaks, but running to grab food should not take 2.5 hours. Then he will try and act like your friend all along the process, when in reality he is just disrespectful and completely un professional.

I hired Jim Bell Sake Ramps to build my boys a 12' x 26" halfpipe ramp as a surprise Christmas present while we were away traveling. Unfortunately due to the amount of rain the week we were away, progress was delayed. However, when we arrived home, the boys were super surprised and excited when they saw the initial ramp frame in our driveway wrapped in Christmas lights and candy canes. Jim his team went above and beyond to surprise them.The entire Jim Bell ramp building team was great to work with and allowed my boys to help out here and there, which was great experience for them. The experience working with Jim and his team, the ramp quality and the enjoyment we get from it deserves a five star review. Jim even threw in some ramp material to repair another ramp we built a couple years back.

Jim is so talented and friendly. We loved having him at our house for a couple days while he built our ramp. The experience was fun for our kids. Now we have the perfect ramp built custom to our abilities and to the space we had. We've had the ramp for a few years and it is still in great shape even through CO winters.
