I used TurboTax for years and was never able to free file despite the federal requirement to do so. Theoretically there is a way to do it, but when I got to the end it would let me not file for state and made of the money by charging for my state taxes. I found free tax USA and only paid $15, for what turbo would charge 50-100 to do. I feel like you are dishonest and prey on the consumer. So glad I left turbo tax and will never look back.

Intuit doesn't care about any of their customers. If you care at all about your quality of life and don't like communicating with actual robots, PLEASE avoid Intuit at ALL COSTS! I've had countless calls to tech support to attempt to resolve a seemingly simple issue with Payment Processing (recurring payments aren't processing). They put me on a merry-go-round of asking to verify the account time and time again (after every time they transfer me). They have amnesia about any prior calls that have been placed and will not call back to resolve anything. BEYOND FRUSTRATING! Consider this your friendly warning.

I am a user of their QuickNooks ever had two billing issues caused by their system, I spend several hours talking with them online to solve such a silly mistakes in their software, but they just can not get it done! Worst customer service ever. 8 hours on hold and still no resolution on migration from desktop to online. Find a different accounting software. QB is terrible!!!!

I've used quickbooks payroll online for several years and I've had nothing but problems. The most recurring problem is being overcharged. Whenever a problem arises I have to reach out to their support staff, which are extremely difficult to work with and many times don't know their own product. The UI for their system isn't thought through and is missing some important stuff like transaction confirmations.
But the last straw for me is that they charge you for active contractors, but their definition of active is not whether you've made a payment to them that month, it is whether you manually flag them as inactive. According to their own support staff, the active flag provides no benefit, except to hope that customers will forget to mark a contractor as inactive so they can charge them for it.
Overall, the product is overpriced for what you get and dealing with support isn't worth the headache. Hoping to be a former customer as soon as possible.

Too many flimsy partnerships and not enough ownership of problems. They'll sell you a product or service and then turn around and say they can't help. Very frustrating to to business with an organization that feels they should never be on the hook for anything. Customer service is poor, no follow up or warm transfer to partners. Their banking solution is a joke, no one can track down transactions via transaction ID. Representative for QuickBook capital couldn't figure out how to set up auto pay and refused to notify when the payment failed before it was due.Pure chaos and no accountability.

My cleaning company just got the contract to clean here for one year. Great campus although there are a lot of security hoops to jump through. Oh by the way I kept ALL of the cleaning crews that were working there. No one was fired or replaced
