Mairye abates is a lifesaver! She is extremely knowledgeable about military taxes and has helped my husband and I since 2019. We just finished our taxes today after being stumped by Colorado, but she managed to walk us through everything. We look forward to working with her next year!

BEWARE!!!! H&R Block are no tax “professionals” Especially this branch. I have never felt less confident in someone I hired for a professional service.We were ghosted by the CPA assigned to do our business taxes with no communication whatsoever until weeks after the deadline. After we finally got someone to respond and reassign the tax return by contacting corporate, it took another month for them to complete a very simple tax return.They caused us to miss the deadline by over a month which then caused to accrue fines. We were ensured that H&R Block themselves would take care of our late penalty. We asked multiple times for that statement in writing, to ensure that the penalty would be paid by them, when the time came. We were refused to get this in writing. Of course, now that the time has come to cover the late penalty that they caused, they have ghosted us again.Shame on Jose, the manager of this branch. It is despicable to take advantage of small businesses and make empty promises after your “professionals” completely failed us.
