I have been banking with Homestreet since 2021 and couldn't be happier with the experience. I opened my Real Estate Business' S-corp account here originally and then other checking and savings subsequently because Charles Cadwalader (Vice President – Sr. Branch Manager ) and his staff treat me like gold. It's a very personalized experience and I feel well taken care of by Chuck and his staff here in Mission Gorge and at the Kearney Mesa branch too! I highly recommend banking local!

GREAT place to bank. Just opened up a savings account with Marie it was a great experience. A lot of attention to detail looking for mistakes that could potentially cause problems down the road.

I've stopped in here enough times for personal business and gotten to know the staff so well, it's nice when they refer to you by name and make the experience personal. Definitely not a big bank feel here. There are only a few branches here in San Diego, but they are growing. Homestreet recently acquired some branches of a local business bank. On the financial side, it's nice that they don't have many of the same fees from Big bank. They do have some accounts that have exceptional rates as well compared to "big bank". On the personal side, I was looking for a financial institution to help with a career awareness program for high school students. I checked with several local credit unions and banks. None of which could help out with this project. When I approached the branch manager, Gabriel, he had a "can do" attitude about getting it done. He even enlisted managers and staff from other branches to talk to students about their roles within the organization. It was a great presentation series that the students thoroughly enjoyed! Free water and snacks on the counter as well! :-) Keep on Yelp'n!

DO NOT BANK HERE. My car was towed 10 minutes after I used the ATM (I have the ATM receipt and the tow company time record). I tried to show my ATM receipt to the bank manager and she would not look at it. She tried to tell me that my car had been there for more than an hour. I asked her to do the math for me as to how she figured I was there for an hour and she couldn't. You don't want to bank at a place who has a manager that has nothing to do but lie in wait to fraudulently tow cars and who also can't do basic arithmetic!

I meet with Lorraine Paniagua on 1.10.2018, in the hopes to get qualified for a consumer loan. She appeared to be nice, but not thorough in her submission in my application. Out of the many items to correct, I had to correct items such as my accurate monthly gross income(which she was going to submit inaccurately). She submitted my application on 1.10.2018, however, it appears that they did not process my application until 1.12.2018(2 days later) I then called them for an update on 1.11.2018, and she advised me that it takes a while for them to get back to them with an answer, and she contact me back when they know. With NO update of ANY KIND, I then called them again on 1.18.2018l(6 business days later), and left ANOTHER message with a lady asking for Lorraine to call me back. Lorraine never called me back. With NO response back, I then called AGAIN(9 business days later with STILL no response) and spoke with Kyle(very nice guy) around 1:19PM on 1.23.2018 and left yet ANOTHER message for her to call me back. Lorraine never called me back. It was 2 weeks on 1.24.2018 that I applied for a consumer loan, and NO response, it takes 2 weeks to get an approval for a loan? I THEN I received a phone call from Yorline Warren(SUPERVISOR) around 1:55PM on 1.23.2018, and she apologized for the delay in the loan response and said that she would be the one to handle my loan moving forward, and would keep me updated on the status. STILL, deflecting that Lorraine did not call me back. Needless to say, I did not get my loan, which delayed me from seeking other financial options that could have been helping me during the 2 weeks that it took to get a denial. People have real life problems, and we seek help from professionals who we hope can help us reach our financial goals. Being treated with the worst customer service, and not having a good customer experience, I do not ever recommend them.

Don't use this business, they like to tow cars from Shopping Center parking spots. Probably one of the worst banks around.

I opened an account on my lunch break this past Monday. I was in a time crunch and needed an account quickly and they were able to do so. The location is super convenient and everyone there is super friendly. I never thought I would have ever had such a pleasant experience when opening a bank account. Everything was so simple. This location especially is super clean and welcoming. I definitely recommend going to this bank!

New client of HomeStreet Bank and I couldn't be happier with the service and friendliness of the staff at this branch! Very clean and modern interior, complimentary coffee and snacks, never a wait.. oh and did I mention they have a really cool online banking interface? I've been a client at other banks and must say, the HomeStreet online banking interface and features are way ahead of the game. Drop into this branch and talk to Lorraine about opening up an account if you're looking for better service and no lines!

Recently opened a couple of accounts at this branch and was completely impressed with the professionalism of ALL the employees. They made us feel welcome and cared for. They all made us feel like we are valuable customers. I even received a follow up phone call and email with answers to my questions. The accounts were set up perfectly and I was able to access my on-line banking account the next day. Would recommend Homestreet bank to anyone for their banking needs...you will be in GOOD hands.
