First time in the store. Super cute store. Easy to find. We found some great gems. It was my friend's daughter birthday. The staff was super friendly and excited we were celebrating a birthday. Birthday girl got 20% discount. The clothes are priced well. Very clean and organized. I'm so happy we found this place. We will definitely return to buy and make donations.

Great finds, great prices, and in support of wonderful programs. I also love the candles and hand sanitizers that they make and sell. Highly recommend shopping here!

Customer service was great! They have a large selection of clothes and shoes. If you have large sized feet, you can really find something nice. They also have a decent amount of accessories like purses and belts. I was looking for some old pottery or housewares I can use for pottery. The household good section was nice. I didn't find anything I could use there however, did leave with a nice pair of slacks for under 8 dollars. They do not have air conditioning, so it is very warm in there.

Such a great little thrift boutique! The staff are super kind and welcoming - and the store smells so good because of the candle display (they actually have another business that *makes* the candles onsite - so cool)! Definitely a great place to check out if you're looking for a more unique thrifting experience. :)

So I moved from north park area to normal heights recently and hadn’t really been to home start. I know they offer employment to families who are struggling & that’s amazing. However… the past 3 times I have gone in Maria has been extremely rude or standoffish. I went with my baby to check it out and accidentally bumped into something and she was extremely unprofessional and rude with her response. I had gone in to donate and she was working again and I mentioned to her if they couldn’t take donations (it was really nice items) that I would likely have to trash as I needed space in my vehicle ASAP) she responded “you should probably trash them” as someone who works at a thrift shop you’d think their response would be to “make an appointment “ I would rather take my money to an Amvets and scour their racks since they likely have brand names as well for a fraction of the cost than here. It’s overpriced considering it’s not a buy sell trade. I’ve purchased Patagonia jackets for $10-$15 plenty of times at other thrift but here it would cost me $30 may as well buy new ?

Beautiful Place!! Had never been here before, was in the area and daughter wanted to go thrifting. Got lucky! Prices are good, $$ goes to a good cause. No junk in this place, everything is in really good condition. Oh, and it’s a lot bigger inside than it appears.

This is a cute small Thrift store with a good cause. I was off put by my experience today, after going back post pandemic I was disappointed to see that their fitting rooms are still shut down and their clothing all final sale. At this point, we firmly know that surface transmission is not a factor with Covid, and no infections have ever been spread through touching a garment someone else touched. The CDC has called for an end to this kind of hygiene theater, and most other stores have reopened dressing rooms. If Home Start chooses to continue to ignore the science , the least they could do would be allowing their patrons to return the clothing they purchased without being able to try on.
