Good business stay location but would also be great for a family trip with clean large rooms, an outside pool, and large lounge with well supplied breakfast. just be aware $24 charge for parkingRooms: Large and spacious. Well cleaned and comfortableNearby activities: You have to drive to get to stuff, but most of San Diego’s main attractions are a 10-15 mi tie drive at mostWalkability: Not much to walk to bc your in San Diego’s Hotel circle which basically in a row of hotels that line the freeway

Pavean, I probably misspelled the name and I’m sorry, but he was friendly and helpful and even upgraded our room! The drive from Texas was long but the hotel was very nice and comfortable and breakfast was excellent!

I stayed there for 5 days(5/4-5/8), and been charged directly for 5 days total $120 parking fee($24/day) after I checked out without noticing in advance, even I had a free parking doc. when check-in and put in the car. Up to now, still mentioned they are under reviewing my claim.

Our check in time was 4:00 p.m. and we arrived at about 4:20 p.m. We were informed our room wasn't ready. They opened the door to the patio/pool area and turned on the fire place. The room wasn't ready until 5:30 p.m. , so 1 1/2 hours after check in time. We went to the front desk a couple of times, they never checked on us or came to us to provide updates. They did not offer concessions, so we asked if they would and they comped our parking. We felt they should have done more.We booked the suite specifically for, the jacuzzi tub.We checked in and discovered the tub had a few hairs in it and called down to ask that it be cleaned. The front desk person came herself to do it, no concession offered, we didn't ask either. The next morning my Husband went down to get breakfast and brought it back to our room.He got 2 milks and went to drink the first one and gagged, it was spoiled with lumps and sour. The date was good, must have gotten left out.The eggs did not taste fresh either. The room design was beautiful and the bed was so comfy.I would not stay again as the suite price was lofty vs. the experience.

From a frequent traveler and IHG Diamond and rewards card holder. Have stayed at over 230 IHG locationsLousy Hotel and extremely poor customer service. They charge an outstanding $22 + Tax per night for parking - yet it’s not even remotely within walking distance of anything. The hotel amenities themself are mediocre. There very small courtyard/pool area was probably the only highlight in my opinion. Everything else is pretty terrible. By the cheapest mattress I’ve ever slept on. Extremely stiff and thin. Was literally 6” of cheap stiff springless sponge. The rooms themselves are updated but the HVAC is not. Fans in bathrooms are dated and not in working order, and the Cooling and Heating in the rooms are so loud and rarely work. This created a pretty bad combination and can easily get your room to 80° + after a few hot showers.Housekeeping apparently cleans rooms at 7pm at night. They don’t knock. Ended up walking in on my wife while she was in the shower. Had a 5 night stay and our AC stopped working on the 2nd night. Sweated it out in 80° temps for 2 additional nights before they finally moved us (AFTER fighting for an entire day about it with the Hotel). They wanted to go into the room while we were out to move our belongings to another room which we declined and said we would move it when we returned that evening. They then insinuated we wouldn’t be able to switch to another room because they needed to “Free Up” the room we were previously in (Which makes no sense unless they were knowingly attempting to book a room with broken AC and bathroom fan)After being switched to the new room, the thermostat had zero power at all. So we then moved back and sweated it out again for the last nightFinal Thoughts:Don’t stay here. It’s not an ideal location, it lacks quality, it’s overpriced parking, and trust me, you don’t want to be in a hotel room in San Diego that doesn’t have working heating and cooling.

First of all, check the address! My Uber first took me about 8 minutes down the road to a Hilton Garden Inn that used to be a Holiday Inn- Mission Valley even Google maps has it listed wrong! Once we found it, it's in the Hotel circle, it was a pleasant checkin. Somewhat new still, nice TVs, beds, breakfast area. My bathroom was a bit neat up already so I removed a star for that.Check in was easy and reception was friendly. The pool and jacuzzi are in a shaded spot and looked nice but I didn't use them.I was able to walk 15 min to get to Town and Country Resort for a conference I was attending, not sure I felt comfortable at night walking under the overpass but I did it anyways, some conferences should have a shuttle I just had missed it. Be warned there is limited food options around this hotel area- a pizza place in one hotel, a burger place down a few and I am guessing then Courtyard has small plates but I didn't go inside.Walkability: Possible to walk to Town and Country in 15 min, very few restaurants that are walking distance

The room and bed were comfortable and quiet with very easy parking. The included breakfast was okay, but with minimal variety. Service was good until we asked for a late check-out. We agreed to the extra expense, but when we returned the room key did not open the door. I walked back to the front desk. No apology or offer to make it better, just a normal Holiday Innconvenience.

Bed is hard as a rock, no smart TV in room, so I can't stream my favorite shows, walls are paper thin and it sounds like an elephant is staying in the room above me, iron's steam function does not work, this is nothing like all the other Holliday Inn Express facilities I've stay at before.

This is a nice, modern hotel with a great Hotel Circle location. Our room was very large, with two queen beds (four pillows each), a desk, and two chairs. The bathroom was also large and modern, with plenty of space around the sink and a big shower. The only negative was a very noisy HVAC unit, which had to be turned off at bedtime. We only stayed one night, but this would be a great choice for a longer stay.

Great spot to stay at. Breakfast was typical fare (eggs, turkey sausage, sausage links, pancakes, pastries, yogurt, fruit, cereal) but the cooked menu changes each day so it was a nice surprise each morning. Plenty of places to sit if you want a break from the room. Gym is small but available and the pool was warm (open until 10pm each day). Easy access to the highway and within 15-30 minutes to all things San Diego including the beaches, zoo, downtown and the sights. Staff were pleasant.Rooms: Typical rooms. Well stocked with toiletries and towels and clean. Daily room service if you need it.Nearby activities: 15-30 minutes to everything and shipping close by.Safety: Security on Patrol through the night. And floors for guests are only accessible with room key.

If you get the opportunity to stay at this location, it’s about 10-15 minutes from everything! We were able to do all of the kid friendly activities San Diego had to offer. This location had a knowledgeable and friendly staff. One worth mentioning is Brian. He was accommodating, helpful, went above and beyond for me and my family. He definitely made our stay more memorable and satisfying. If this makes his way to management, you have an exceptional employee. Thank for the lovely hospitality.
