Typically I never write reviews but I need to look out for fellow servicemembers. Let me start off by saying Tara is the kindest, organized, and top notch front desk and deserves better than working here. The office dog is cool as well but the owner is pretentious. This was my second and final year using this firm. If you enjoy paying $425 to watch a guy with a condescending attitude ignorantly mash numbers into a computer for 30 minutes, Mike Hoffman is your guy! Thought I was hiring a seasoned professional to help me in a tough tax situation. I filled him in on SCRA and Pub 523 clauses he had no idea about, I called back and emailed multiple times saying this return wasn't right, where he assured me it was, had me owing thousands to the IRS and 3 separate states. I paid another tax professional to check his work and found that I overpaid the IRS and owe nothing to the 3 states. A discrepancy of over $8000. Take your business elsewhere, especially if you are military with multiple income sources.

Mike Hoffman is excellent! Upon consultation, all state and federal taxes were completed and file in the same day. He is professional, competent and has extensive experience. The office help respond to calls immediately. Highly recommend.

I switched after dissatisfaction with a major payroll service, and I couldn't be happier. Tara Krone is professional, responsive, highly accurate, and very easy to work with. We've been using Hoffman & Associates for over ten years. Tara is fantastic with her customer service for payroll. She is very responsive especially when we've needed a quick answer or paperwork to be processed ASAP. They are reasonably priced and an overall great company to work with.

I have a small business. Tara and Carly at Hoffman and Associates make my job much easier. Tara takes care of my payroll and Carly takes care of my taxes. I don’t know what I would do without them. I am not an expert in those areas, but they are so I leave payroll and taxes to them. It is so nice to not have to worry about all that on a daily basis.
