Worked with Tom Cruse, the owner, who designed and delivered the most awesome patio ever! Since it was on a second level, they worked diligently to float the tile so water would drain off properly. Tom incorporated diagonal shapes with border tiles in the design as I requested, so the cuts and placement needed to be precise. They were! Not only does this beautiful patio add to the value of my home, but it will bring enjoyment to my family and friends for years to come!

I highly recommend Hard Rock Tile & Stone. I worked with Tom Cruse, Oscar and Billy all true professionals and damn good at what they do. They were doing a neighbor's bathroom so I had them give me a quote for new kitchen quartz countertops and tile backsplash. They are competitive, helpful and flexible with me when it came to materials, scheduling and even let me use there contractors discount to order luxury tile they did not carry. I have high expectations and a vision for my kitchen and they delivered. I will be using them again when we update our bathrooms. Highly Recommend.

After a thorough search for a company to work with to install kitchen cabinets, countertops and new flooring we chose Hard Rock Tile and Stone and we are extremely happy with the results. As other reviews have noted, Tom Cruse and his team do excellent work and went above and beyond to complete the project on time and on budget. We definitely will use Hard Rock Tile and Stone on our next project.

This place has the largest best selection of tile in my opinion of anywhere in San Diego and in addition if they don't have the tile on hand, they can get it very quickly. I hired Tom to complete two bathroom remodels and install my new kitchen countertops. One bathroom has corner shower and the other has a full bathtub. Both bathrooms have very high ceilings and we ran tile all the way to the top. The level of detail, care, integrity, and perfection was greatly appreciated. I am admittedly on the extreme side of being a perfectionist, and I could not be happier. Tom helped me come up with the perfect design and he gave me such fantastic ideas to incorporate. His installer Caesar did my install and he took his time to consider even the smallest details in the patterns and how they would fit together. I felt so supported and cared for. I will be hiring them on all my future projects. Thank you Hard Rock Tile & Stone!!!!

We had Hard Rock Tile & Stone do our bathroom Tile. They were in and out in 2 days and are clearly experts in their craft.They provided their judgment through minor decisions throughout the process and we trusted their knowledge since they have done so many jobs. We are impressed with their work and their craftsmanship is not lost on us.Tom was also flexible to work with while coordinating dates since our shower install was running longer than expected.If we end up doing our second bathroom, we will surely use Hard Rock Tile again.

Hard Rock just completed a full living area stone tile project in our home (living, dining, kitchen and family rooms). The team did a great job and Tom Cruse personally managed and finished the project himself. The stone is gorgeous! And the workmanship is fantastic. We don't do a lot of reviews, but we're doing this one because we were looking for this kind of review when we were choosing a contractor.

I was simply looking for a specific brand of tile and called many places. Dan from Hard Rock Tile & Stone actually answered the phone, told me he would call me back because he was helping a customer at the moment. He called me back within 5 minutes to inform me they did not carry the brand I was looking for, but had looked up a vendor and provided the number for the establishment that did. My point.... excellent customer service. I've made a note of it and will definitely patronize this business because of the professional and accommodating service I received just from a phone call.
