I’m not the type of person that would leave reviews good or bad. However my family and I recently stayed here on 11/2/24 for one night. We valet and from the moment we arrived to the day we departed, WOW! We were very very impressed with our stay. At check in they had a small line, I was greeted and walked by a staff member to the back where they check in special hotel members. Check in was a breeze and was even offered a complimentary beverage of choice. Made my way to the elevators and up to my room. Upon exiting and walking to my room, we were greeted again by hotel staff members. The hotel member welcomed and asked if we needed anything and was told to let them know if there was anything we need to just let them know. I really appreciated that they were adamant, welcoming and the warm hospitality just in the first 15 minutes I was there. Our room was very nice, we had standard two queen room. Beds/pillows were comfy, the view was of the Petco Park stadium which was really cool. I wasn’t to thrilled of the pocket door to the restroom or the fact there was no exhaust fan switch. Loved the decor in the lobby, of course the pleasant hotel smell you always get at nice hotels. We’ve stayed a many hotels in my life time, and frequently in Vegas, HRH is up there on my list! Will definitely and highly recommended. I will definitely be back in the future, thank you Hard Rock

I really enjoyed my stay in Hard Rock Hotel San Diego. The rooms are very confortable. The environment is nice. It is next to the fifth avenue and the nice places in San Diego to hang out.
Also is walking distance to the convention center if you are coming to a meeting.
The only think I disliked in my stay was the halloween party (I came for working) so there was a little bit noisy.

Great hotel and perfect location. Rooms are really nice, clean, and very spacious. Nice to feel not so restricted when staying in such a popular place. Every staff member I've interacted with was beyond kind. Would easily stay here again.

The hard Rock hotel San Diego, is right in the middle of everything. I mean it sits at the foot of 5th Street, across from the convention center, and 5th Street has like 30 restaurants and shops and all the things. The hotel itself is shiny, and somewhat posh. Being in the heart of the City it scales slightly small as opposed to some other locations, but everything that you expect is there. Except for maybe the gift shop, which is actually very small. The rooms are very comfortable, well-appointed, and the mini bar is very well stocked, including bottles of Herredura! The hotel boasts a rooftop bar on the fourth floor, a sports bar on the first floor, along with Nobu, and other restaurants. I STRONGLY SUGGEST finding out what the conference schedule is across the street. The AU 2024 conference is happening right now and tonight they bought the first four blocks of 5th Street, which is completely closed to everyone except for the conference attendees. The problem is that's where all the really good restaurants are. So check ahead to make sure everything's open to the public

I stayed at the Hard Rock for a bachelorette party and we all had a great time. We were able to request rooms next to each other and the staff were all helpful and friendly. We ended up renting a cabana for the pool party which was a lot of fun. They had plenty of options to make the bride feel VIP with the rooms and the pool party.
The location was perfect because most of the things we did during the trip were downtown and near the hotel.

I visited this hotel during Comic-Con for its special SpongeBob-themed decorations, and it was a fun experience! The exterior was covered in popular SpongeBob memes and quotes, creating a playful atmosphere right from the start. Inside, there was an impressive, gigantic SpongeBob arch and plenty of great photo opportunities. It was clear that a lot of thought went into creating an immersive and fun experience for fans.

Rooms: Funky architectural design. Everything is very low to the floor- i.e. bed, couch, chair. Ergonomically not conducive to comfort or mobility.
Safety: Very steep stairs and staircases. Malfunctioning elevators when we were there. Pest problem on premises (large and small cockroaches outdoors.)
