We started at Green Beans after after transferring from another school. We had been nervous because of our previous experience, but very quickly we noticed a big change in our toddler’s mood and attitude toward school. He absolutely loves going to Green Beans, he is relaxed and happy before and after school, and looks forward to seeing his friends and teachers. The owner, Louise, is very support and involved in the school, the teachers are sweet, professional, and dedicated, and the school feels like a second home for our son. The school provides a nice blend of learning activities and free play, they have special music and art teachers that visit each week, and they take weekly visits to the library. Most important, all the children are so happy!

My toddler has been able to explore her full potential at Green beans. Friends and family are so impressed with her language skills and ability to sign so many words. There’s a weekly sign class at the library across the street that they attend, but the staff also reinforces the words learned as well as implementing additional sign words. The staff are kind and very knowledgeable on child development issues. And my little one loves it there. Also, we are vegan and she is provided a nutritious and yummy meal everyday. We are so grateful we found Green Beans Preschool!

Green Beans has been such an wonderful place for our daughter to grow and learn each and every day. Our 1.5 year old loves going every morning and gets so excited to see her amazing caretakers and new friends. We love the variety of activities they have, and the music and library days are so unique! The staff are really committed to providing a safe, fun, and loving environment. We're very thankful to have found this incredible place for our daughter. We would recommend Green Beans to anyone looking for childcare!

Green beans is the absolute best preschool around. We started out at a much more structure school when my child was around 2.5 years old, it wasn't until the pandemic forced us into changing schools and we chose green beans, that we realized how ill-suited the other school was for our child. Green beans will truly work with you to make your child thrive. The owner louise is so patient and kind and is running this school from a place of pure love for working with children. It has been such a blessing to have our child at green beans all throughout the pandemic. They have been able to be safe without being rigid and have competent and useful ways of dealing with everything the pandemic has thrown at schools and childcare providers. The flexibility that is a part of this school means my child gets to set the stage for what works best for him, vs being put into a set agenda just because that is what is done. The teachers at the school are fantastic and are very patient with my high energy child. My top priority for preschool for my child was that he play in a safe and healthy environment and that he enjoys going to school. Green beans provides that and much, much more. I am not a fan of dirt and sand and paint and I'm thrilled he gets to do that at green beans so that i don't have to clean up those messes up at my house! It will be a sad sad day when my child graduates from green beans. I often say i wish he could stay for his entire education experience- lol. We've met amazing parents and children at green beans and louise does a fantastic job pulling everyone together to create a sense of family. Thank you green beans!!!

This is exactly what a preschool should be in every single sense. So. Much. Love. Lots of play, exploring, getting very dirty, music by Mr. Tony every Monday and library days ( the library is directly across the street)This is a play-based preschool and founded on love so no super rigid lessons or rules. There is lots of reading and learning but it's more for those parents who want their children to enjoy their few precious young years by exploring and playing. The meals are also super yummy and healthy and often include food from their garden or farm box. They have so many special things they do randomly like cooking lessons or bringing in goats and having goat milk ice cream or incubating and hatching baby chicks! So cool! I couldn't be happier with Miss Louise the owner and the teachers. I have sent both my daughter and son here.

This is the most wholesome, amazing and loving preschool. The owner, Louise loves children and making their days better. I love the organic food, all of the activities and encouragement the kids get to be themselves. It is a such a relief to find someone to care for your kids with as much love as you give them. I highly recommend this school.

My daughter has been going to Greenbeans for 6 months now and she absolutely loves it! The teachers are amazing and there are so many creative and educational activities my daughter gets to experience daily. I mean they are incubating and hatching baby chicks there this month and the kids are involved in the entire process!! The healthy meals are also a huge bonus. The director/ owner is super hands on and you can tell she really cares about every child. I highly recommend Greenbeans to anyone looking for a nurturing learning environment for their child.

Green Beans is truly the best around! My daughter can't wait to get to school and has a huge smile on her face everyday at pickup. I value the fact that the teachers really get to know each child individually and appreciate them for the unique little people that they are. The children feel loved, safe, and free to be themselves. This is not the school for you if you are looking for an immaculate/sterile learning environment. At Green Beans, the kids explore, learn, and grow through play, creative and fun activities, music, and using their imaginations(which usually results in happy dirty kids at the end of the day:)) Monday music class with Mr.Tony and weekly visits to the library are things my daughter looks forward to every week. As a Mom, I also LOVE that my daughter is getting a well balanced, healthy meal everyday for lunch and that there is a private Facebook group to keep parents involved in daily activities. We love Green Beans and I'm sure you will too:)

Green Beans is more than a daycare it is a family, that is centered around curiosity, play, love and imagination. I have been lucky enough to have both of my children attend Green Beans. Louise and her team have helped encourage a positive foundation in my kids, that has surpassed any expectations that one might have when it comes to a "daycare". Do they get dirty? yes, a big part of their day is PLAYING, which includes lessons on gardening (in their own garden!!), art, cooking, music and running around and on the play structures. Louise allows the kids to be kids here :) To top it off, Louise offers amazing, healthy, organic food for the kids meals which my boys love. Green Beans is amazing :)

Our little one went here for nearly five years and we loved it! Louise and her staff are like family. They take such good care of the kids, feed them amazing food, and love them like their own. Highly recommend Louise and Green Beans Preschool for toddlers and preschoolers!

This is my person opinions and I hope this information would help you choose the right day care for your children.My husband and I made an appointment to tour this place. There were 26 kids in this house... Very young toddlers were playing outside and they were all having runny nose and playing with dusted toys... (all the teachers didn't seem professional to us...) The bathroom was dirty and toilet papers were sitting next to the toilet. The sink was full of dishes and kids sippy cups were covered with dust outside and they were having a construction to extent the day care facility. Before you make any decisions, just please go check if this place is clean enough for my child or not. I hope this information helps.
