I haven't been there for awhile but my memory of it was that it was all books and very well-organized. I would like to donate some of my books if you are still accepting them. I just have too many books!

Associates are a little uninviting in the way they communicate and inform us of certain donation rules. Seem to get flustered and impatient with us as customers. Also felt like we were being watched the whole time

VERY small. Google Maps calls it a retail store. The sign in front says Bookstore. Was OK for what it is, but not much stuff.

Lots of books! But the prices are too high for a resale store.

Love dropping donations off here (easy around back pull-in parking, separate it into bins yourself, friendly staff) and adore shopping here! Great books. Great home goods. Found a few vintage clothing treasures too.And there is just something about smaller, boutique-like goodwill locations that are fun to visit! Definitely a great store!

This place is tiny but everything is top notch. My kiddo got a beautiful, like new leather jacket here for only $11! Definitely worth the stop.

Dropped off donations for my 94 year old Mom today and was told they no longer give paper receipts,You can only scan a QR code. Funny thing but my 94 year old Mom doesn't have a cellphone. A paperless email was not offered, which would have been an option if they were truly trying to save on paper costs, as the attendent indicated. I have literally brought in items selling at goodwill for many thousands of dollars over the past 18 months, helping senior friends clear out their lovely homes prior to moving into senior living. I will no longer donate to goodwill.

Solid inventory but the prices seem very high. You can get similar (new) items at H&M and IKEA -- detracting from one of the main reasons to buy second hand. They also don't do any weekly deals which is common practice at other Goodwill's I've been to across the country. Would suggest trying offer up and estate sales instead if you are a budget buyer.

Such a small goodwill, but worth checking out! I bought a 40-50$ breastfeeding pillow for 9.99 but most items here are pretty pricey for a goodwill. There were some pretty cheap items marked at 14-15$ such as cherished teddies which are on eBay for $4-5 or heart shaped stones at 15$ each when you can buy 25 for just about that price elsewhere. I think great things can be found, but look items up online before you buy.

This actually and unfortunately was not a good experience. I went specifically book shopping today at different thrift stores and had been to a couple others before coming here. The other stores had reasonable prices and clearly stated for paperbacks and hard covers. This particular Goodwill has some sort of 'special' store designation and some of their book prices are more expensive than what I can purchase for less the same book on Amazon or other used book stores on line.Very disappointing and all the Goodwill stores ought to follow the same price breakdown. I don't want to discuss the customer service. They are just going along with what they're told so I won’t take out my disappointment on them. Not their fault. They have no control over that.Poor pricing policies. I will not be rushing to buy books from there ever. Not a good deal on books.

Late Review for March 5th 2022. I called ahead to this donation center/bookstore and explained that another Goodwill store donation center in El Cajon's store manager named trumpus turned me away after I had called ahead to make sure they were still accepting donations. The supervisor Keegan answered and after I explained my dilema told me to come on over and that he and his crew would be happy to take care of us. I had a truck and car load full of donations and Keegan did not turn us away as we told him the majority of it was household goods. I then returned to my storage and realized that I accidentally donated a box that was not supposed to be donated! I was an emotional wreck. I called Keegan and he assured me that he would look for it and between he and his wonderful crew they found it! I was overjoyed! Thank you to the staff and Keegan at the Del Cerro bookstore you guys are amazing!

Much like any other thrift store, it all depends on when you visit. This store is extremely small. Would be nice if they pulled the other items in order to make way for more books, keeping it strictly books. Instead you'll find misc clothes, bags & shoes, misc, albeit limited. Not totally sure whether it's a book store or very small thrift, although it claims to be just a bookstore. Majority of the stock would be hardback fiction and general non-fiction, some children's books too. Overall this store is okay, not a favorite.

Prices are way too high! These are donations that Goodwill specifically at this location make unaffordable. If you get a donated pair of shoes regardless if they are 200 or were 200 dollars do you sell it to thrifters for 129.00? Pyrex measuring cup found cheaper on Amazon.. hows that? used boots 5.00 off of retail? I guess nicer area with more expensive donations means charge more. this is in the college area. College students cant afford to shop at this goodwill? interesting

Very over priced. The store is neat and clean, but prices for most items are ridiculous.
