“I don't usually do reviews of this type of places but I think it's worth it.We arrived at this place after having breakfast in Little Italy and the atmosphere is perfect, in fact the music and the smell of freshly burnt incense is phenomenal.We bought a ring and some incense that we had been looking for in several places without luck.The variety of artifacts and stones is very good and abundant.The person who assisted us, a bearded guy whose name I forgot to take, was super courteous and friendly!!We'll definitely come back!!”
“I love OB Gift Shop. I take friends and family here whenever they're in town so they can get all the SD stuff they need and ideally represent OB too! What you may not know - they always have unique finds. A killer assortment of knicknacks, magnets, bottle openers, stone/gem crafts, and much more, as well as tshirts, sweats, hats, shorts, sunblock, boogie boards etc. But this time my mom wanted a tshirt with a minimal SD logo on the top left, and nothing in stock quite fit that description. So they offered to just make one for her on the spot!! She chose her favorite color and tshirt size, and they put her preferred logo on there. It took 2 minutes! Unbelievable. I had to write a review for that level of above and beyond service. No one at CVS or target is going to hook you up with a custom tshirt. This is the spot.Support local business! Especially this OB gem. You won't regret it.”

“If you're visiting Barrio Logan and you don't stop at Casa XoVi you're missing out. I'm down in the area a few times a year and I NEVER MISS IT.The owner is fabulous. Such a wonderful woman and authentic. She cares and will help you get just what you need and what you didn't even realize you needed. Perfect spot for gifts also. The home made delicacies.... I stock up when I'm there.Try it all. You will thank me!I confess that I love the area but a lot of the shops are all selling identical things now and that is why I love Casa XoVi it is still unique.Art, Yummies, decor, gifts, and some of the classic items. Take a basket and let her fill it up and you will have a gift no one will forget.Go early for the best parking. I suggest comfy shoes and park a little ways off as it is more fun walking than fighting for parking. “I saw the prices in the store window and I thought no way, everything was actually reasonably priced I got a san Diego shirt for only $8 instead of $20 and when I asked the kind lady up front she told me theyed been there for over 30 years and the owner refused to steal from tourists with crazy prices, I've never been so happy to buy a souvenir!”

“I had lunch in Old Town and came across Old Town Jerky and Root Beer. I had to go inside as I love root beer. Inside was a huge selection of root beer and other drinks in glass bottles. Reminds me of when I was a kid and most drinks were in glass bottles and you could return them for a dime. Most of the drinks were $4 each. Surf City Root Beer had a good amount of sweetness and carbonation. I liked the vanilla and sassafras flavor. There is a bite a little like Barq's. Very good tasting root beer. River City Root Beer had lots of bubbles and sweet licorice flavor. Very good. Oak Creek Blonde Barrel Aged Root Beer was the first root beer I've come across that looks like a cream soda. Flavors include caramel, vanilla, cinnamon, and clove. Love the combination of flavors. This is my favorite root beer here. Boulder Birch Beer was sweet with a mix of vanilla and wintergreen flavor. One of my favorite birch beers. If you are a soda lover and prefer your drink in a glass bottle Old Town Jerky and Root Beer is an awesome place to get a drink.”

“My friend brought me to this cute little home store in the heart of Little Italy. There were so many interesting home furnishing items that I wanted to purchase. I had to resist buying stuff, but the selection was refined and interesting. Parking was limited around this particular area, but there was 30 minute metered parking in front of the store.”

“This is a must go place among many other attractions in San Diego. In fact, it got to be in the top 10 list for being such a splendid and magnificent architecture in the heart of San Diego, offering a place for book lovers, knowledge seekers etc. There are multiple levels with a huge collection of books, computers, secluded areas to focus on one's work and beautiful views of the beautiful city. There is also an auditorium for various types of events adjacent to a small open area. Parking is nothing to worry about. Come, park and enjoy this luxury.”

“What a great boutique store (San Diego location) with friendly and attentive service. And, they sell Hammitt purses which I have been looking for everywhere. Steph helped me make the very difficult decisions on picking from the large variety of Hammitt purses and beautiful, original jewelry from around the world. I ended up going back later in the day to buy a second purse from Beau, the owner, who was also very friendly and helpful. The store also has custom art pieces great for decorating your home, clothing, fun gift items, and much more. I don't live in the area, but I will be sure to stop by in all my future visits to San Diego.”

“We popped in this store because of all the amazing wind chimes and shells displayed outside. Lots of gifts from Ocean Beach, but what I loved most was that a large majority of them were made of shells and seaglass.
I chose a starfish ornament to take home and when I checked out, the cashier told me that all the starfish in that style were hand painted by someone in-store and that was pretty cool.
We then bonded over Columbo and when we left. He was sure to tell us there was 'just one more thing...'
