The best flowers I have ever received. I truly am amazed at the beauty and longevity of the floral arrangement I received from Genesee. The photos can only do so much, they are breathtaking in person and I've been enjoying this bouquet for over a week.

My co-worker was hospitalized and was very depressed, so I decided to send her some flowers. I ordered the "Dipped in Gold" floral arrangement online for delivery on the same day. They were able to delivery within certain area codes for a fee and if you want same day delivery, you have to order before 2 PM. The vase for the floral arrangement was not available. Doug (staff) called me to ask if he can use another vase, which was totally fine. I appreciated the fact that they want to make the arrangement as close as possible to the picture on their website. My co-worker was very happy with the flowers. She send me a picture today of the flowers, even 5 days after it was delivered, it was still beautiful and has not withered. Genesee Florist is a local, small business and they offer quality arrangements and superb customer service. I highly recommend them. So happy to have found my new florist. Stopped by on a Saturday a little anxious. Had a bad experience at another florist a few days before but I had nothing to worry about. This is a fantastic small business worth supporting and would highly recommend to anyone. Their prices are incredibly fair and their designs are very thoughtful and pleasing. Made it hard to choose. Only downside is that in regards to dried flowers, the arrangements they had were it. I wanted to add more color to this gorgeous arrangement but options were limited. But they did their best and I (and most importantly the recipient) were very happy with the end result.

This is THEEEEEE BEST florist in San Diego ! We haves used their dry flowers in our RV bathroom and it's still looking good after a lot of moving around. (8 states) They make the most beautiful centerpieces and just love going in there and bringing something in and saying This is my limit, go wild ! They always surprise me. I'm truly sad I don't get to get my flowers from here anymore. We sold our house in SD and travel now.

Our daughter is in Mary Berch Hospital for 2 weeks of pregnancy monitoring. The arrangement we got from Genesee Florist brightened her room and was very fragrant. She got lots of compliments from the staff and let them know where they came from. Two thumbs up!

Just ordered some flowers for family member. what they received was not what I had pictured it to be. I asked for orange, yellow and purple flowers for Fall and Cheery. What we got was depressing. Some sunflowers would have been better than this. I should have gone to Costco it would have been prettier and a lot cheaper.

I came across them while looking for a florist that is licensed and insured which was a requirement for my daughter's wedding venue. I am so happy I found them. Douglas was our designer. He was kind and informative. My daughter's wedding bouquet and all the flower arrangements were beautiful.

I was in need of the perfect flowers/gift for my first granddaughter. I arrived at Genesee and was greeted by Darlene. She was pleasant and invited me to look around and ask questions if needed. I spent time around this adorable store which had been transferred into a plant oasis, a beautiful space with gorgeous plants, flowers, decor and gifts. It’s so lovely in here and I was taking it all in. I picked the perfect pot; You Grow Girl! I will be back for sure. The prices were reasonable. Good location with parking. Thanks Darlene. Baby girl will grow and will always see her plant her Mimi gifted to her.

Just stopping by to say THANK YOU! Came by without notice to pick up flowers for a patient of mine getting married today and the gal in the store made a bridal bouquet that was PERFECT on the spot. Cannot say thank you enough!! So impressed by this place!! Definitely coming back.

I’ve been working with GF for over five years now, I’m a wedding photographer and I only send my clients and get all my personal arrangements from Genessee always!!! There’s no doubt that I’m always going to get exactly the vibe I’m going for. Whether it is a photoshoot prop or a gift for my mama, it always has such an effortless beautiful feeling connected to it. Darlen and Doug have become part of my family now and feel so lucky to have crossed paths with them!!
