This record store was amazing! The store owner was so badass and gave some good deals! The best thing was the cassette tape selection, so many R&B and hip-hop titles!!

New location has an expanded selection of vinyl records, cassettes, vintage clothes and all things 80s, 90s, 00s nostalgia. They specialize in Hip Hop but everything here has been carefully curated and you’re sure to find something for all tastes. To access the shop you can find street parking and enter via the street level gate (blue part of the building) or park in the back and walk up the stairs (pictured gate with arrows).

I've been a customer of Eric's for almost a decade. From the University location to his new location. He's got a great selection and if he doesn't have it, he'll order it for you. Super nice , yet professional.

I was on vacation and had this spot pegged for a visit. It was a little tough to find but well worth it when I got there. Small but impressive selection-you just don't find many stores like this on the East Coast (thanks for tip on Cratediggerz in Philly). Prices are fair- it's not cheap but the product is not readily available. If you love hip hop, you have to go.

Small room of a place, probably a couple of hundred records, tops. Not much space equals not much material. If folks are really saying, "Wow, I've never seen this much hip-hop selection in my life," then it's obvious they've never actually been to a record store. I feel for the owners, doesn't look like there's any room to expand. Still, not really worth the trip if you're more than a mile from here.

The most expensive used records (that are not rare or hard to find or out of print) in the history of the world. There is no question that they will have any hip hop album you are looking for. But the average price for a used record is $65 and up. We aren’t talking about the first Beatles or Elvis album here. This is hip hop. Any true hip hop head should be outraged by these price. Unreal!!

My local vinyl shop down the street from my place, have made a cool friendship with Erick and he always comes through with whatever I need. Shop specializes in all things hip hop from then to now along with some rare cassettes from other genres as well. If you're looking for a place to crate dig for a whole day this may not be for you but I'm sure you'll be happy to of made a new homie in the neighborhood

Finally! The perfect record store in a tiny (but functional) space... We searched almost every record store in San Diego for a decent hip-hop and rap selection. It was a total bust until we found the spot. Rare, used, and hard to find... All here. Not to mention a cassette collection like I haven't seen since the 80s! We spent a pretty penny but found a lot of albums we've been searching for. And great staff to boot. If you're looking for these genres just do yourself a favor and go here first!

Place is my GO-TO shop for all my tapes and hip hop vinyls no lie! ? Size of the shop doesn’t matter because the selection is incredible and the shop has a clean, modern, friendly feel to it and isn’t just dusty milk crates and pop up tables like many shops.

lol I've been here so many times. I'm surprised I'm just now writing a review. My favorite vinyl shop ever. And I've been to a lot all over the world. Probably bought 10-15 from him now. They are always perfect. I once got a teddy pendergrass album for $10 and will forever be thankful for that find! The owner is knowledgeable & literally knows what his buyers will like. Every time I come in, he has stuff on hold for his regulars and reaches out to them to come by and get the tape or vinyl. He's the real deal. I bring all my vinyl loving friends here! & will continue to do so.
