I went in for a fitting on a 3-wood. Ryan and Tyler were both very friendly, helpful, and most importantly, extremely knowledgeable on shafts and how to best select one for my swing. I was very impressed and I will definitely be coming back. Really appreciated everything they did for me!

Needed to get a few putters re-gripped and called a few places. The price was the same but Jeff at Fairway Golf was very knowledgeable on the phone. Went in and the experience, service and his guidance was FANTASTIC! I reccomend you go in and ask for Jeff!

Found exactly what I was looking for which I had been unable to find elsewhere. Placed order online, it was ready in minutes. Great staff in both locations, my go to spot for all my golf needs.

I went to the store looking for a specific set of irons and told them what I was willing to pay for them. They listened and they delivered! I will not shop anywhere else in the future, because I was treated much better than a regular customer. A regular customer is a person entering your store who you try to extract as much money from as possible before they exit your store by selling them a product that sort of suits them. The big box store loves the regular customer.

Went to both locations to look for a 3W. Went downtown first, was completely ignored for about 30 minutes (the store was empty) until they finally asked if I needed help. I mentioned I was looking for a 3 wood and was told "we may have some, feel free to look around" which I had been doing and was ignored until I left. Very awkward in an empty store.... Second, I went to the Kearny Mesa location to look for a 3W. Arrived right when they opened and was greeted and looked around for a but unassisted. Found a 3W and wedge I wanted to try on the Sim, but someone who seemed to be friends with the two guys working in the showed up around the same time and started using the sim. I was told I could hit a few balls and get some numbers when the guy using it was done. The guy kept hitting the same club for about half an hour until the two employees started taking turns on the same while I sat there and waited, and waited, and waited. They were giving me awkward looks while ignoring me as I waited. Never got a chance to try anything on the Sim as it was occupied by one person and the employees for an hour and was ignored until I ultimately left. If I didn't have a gift card I would have never spent a penny there. I would not recommend anyone shop here and I won't ever set foot in one again. Go to Golf Mart and save yourself the worst golf store experience of your life. 0/10.

Was in a bind due to another golf shop mess up on a Christmas order. Found what I needed here and placed the order knowing it was too late to get before Christmas. This store had the item shipped out the same day the order was placed and it’s due here the 23rd. They are lightening fast and don’t disappoint!

Cramped store displays, putting carpet squares with raised edges make sample putting impossible and minimal parking. My first (and last) visit to Fairway Golf.

Top shelf establishment for those in the know. An excellent way to shorten your learning curve for those starting out. Unmatched expertise and product knowledge. The first time I came here, within the first few minutes I knew I was somewhere special because the conversation between the team members is much different than any other golf shop. Japanese owned, if you know the quality and ethos that comes with traditional Japanese companies, then you know that the tolerances will be tighter for functional items, and the rarity is just a bit more elusive for Veblen good type social status items. Jeff is a golf club virtuoso / meastro, Tony is good enough to be on the tour IMO and Tyler is very generous with advice and accumen. To sum up my review in one sentence: I stopped going to any other golf shop in San Diego after I realized the depth of quality of this establishment, I won't be returning to any of the others any time soon.

This business serves the public! I experienced the most blatant form of RACISM I've experienced in the last 50 years. The owner apparently is Japanese and he must prefer not servicing persons of COLOR!! He totally ignored me and all I requested was whether or not his shop had the availability of catalog magazines that offered golf items everyday golfers use to play the game. I suggest he plant signs on the outside of his golf shop detailing his objections to Blacks not to enter because their business is NOT WANTED!
