My son needed his pants dyed black and I took them in to Expert Cleaners. The service was excellent. They first consulted with the person who does the dyeing. They kept in touch with me about the likelihood of getting the pants to be the right shade, and made sure I wanted to proceed. They ended up dyeing the pants twice to get the right color. Their prices are very reasonable. I will be returning to this business!

I should have believed the review when they said that their items were not dry cleaned. I brought 4 100% wool items to get dry cleaned here, and all of them came back shrunken. I am furious because these wool garments are very expensive.
I attached two photos to prove that it's not all in my mind. The navy cardigan and the olive cardigan are the same size but different colors. The navy is brand new since I haven't worn it yet. The olive came back from the cleaners.
I am never ever coming back to this place, and I would recommend everyone find another place to get their items dry cleaned.

Recently picked up 3 suits at this dry cleaner they do a great job but the cost is 2-3x more than others near by I'll be driving an extra mile next time it should not cost $20/each

On January 20, 2024, I picked up 3 Tory Burch clothing items that were allegedly dry cleaned by Expert Cleaners. The fabric on the two cardigans looked odd, like they had been through the wash and dried, NOT dry cleaned. The tunic had pulled threads, (damage) that did not exist when I had dropped it off. A week later, I tried on one of the cardigans and noticed it had dramatically shrunken, over a full size and no longer fit me. I had several calls with the owner Mohammed who apologized and asked me to come in so he could personally take care of it. I came in to the store with my 4 yr old daughter on Saturday, February 10, 2024. I showed Mohammed the shrunken sweater and damaged tunic. He asked me repeatedly if I was SURE he had done this, I repeatedly told him, yes, he shrunk the sweater and damaged the tunic. Out of no where, he yelled at me to immediately leave his store, how dare I accuse him of this, etc. It took me by such surprise I burst into tears and started shaking. I grabbed my items and my daughter and put her into my car. A woman who was behind the counter consoled me and did apologize but Mohammed continued to fight with me and said that he did not know if he could fix it but would try. I left my items with him but will never dare step foot into the store. I read his reviews and see MANY customers have similar complaints.

Worst cleaners in area, has given stuff away to wrong customer or lost my items on more than one occasion. No oppology or discount offered. When I complained he threatened to charge me double for my bad attitude. They have no computer system so it's all on paper and tags so it is a disorganized mess. Not an expert cleaner by any stretch of the imagination.

Fantastic job Alwys. This is my go to cleaner. I dig that they do everything on site. I have also had some alterations done. And they've been very good about that too. Turn around is reasonable and the cost is what you'd expect. I can't recommend this local family run business enough! They are amazing!!

This place has always been conveniently located for me and I found them to be friendly and professional. Hoping they can make it through the pandemic for when I start needing my clothes pressed on the regular again.

I suggest you ask for each garment price before it's cleaned. I took in 4 men's short sleeved shirts and although I had been quoted $2.85 per shirt, I was charged $16 when I picked them up.

I have been using expert cleaners for years and would have given them a 5 star because service was always very good but recently they ruined a silk blouse of mine and I am pretty chill it can happen. They said they would pay and did not hassle me so I sent them the ruined blouse and the receipt to replace $162.00 and I get a check for $150.00. Credit card was not credited for the blouse and they short paid the invoice. So this ended up costing me about $15.00....seems a bit odd. I may not use them again.

I have been going to Expert Cleaners for 25 years. I live in La Mesa but work in UTC so I go out of my way to give them my business as they are the best in quality and price. The owners are awesome, great happy attitude every time I come in. Very accommodating. Whether I need something in 2 days or a week they always meet my deadline. Their prices are reasonable for their organic method of cleaning. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my laundry, never lost or damaged ONE garment. And their tailor is very talented and pays attention to detail. She is my go-to tailor now.
