Overall, we had a great stay. Great location and overall a clean hotel. We enjoyed the layout of the Murphy bed option instead of a typical sofa sleeper. Love the free breakfast, but each morning my family and I got an omelette the cheese was not melted. I understand they are extremely busy and it’s “free” but would like cheese melted in omelette. Also, hotel is starting to feel extremely worn- decor, carpet, popcorn ceilings, and bathrooms. Staff was very friendly.

I recently spent three business nights and four days at Embassy Suites in La Jolla, where I've been a frequent guest due to its proximity to my company. Unfortunately, this stay left much to be desired.Upon arrival, I encountered issues with parking. Despite receiving complimentary parking in the past, the manager, Tammy, was unaccommodating and refused my request this time. Her aggressive demeanor only added to the frustration. The hotel itself is showing its age, with outdated facilities and a general lack of upkeep. The sheets in my room were no longer pristine white, and I was dismayed to find blood stains on them during a previous stay in December. Despite raising this concern, no satisfactory resolution was provided. Make sure to check for hairs and stains under the sheet including dirty tubs with hairs too.Overall, my experience at Embassy Suites La Jolla was disappointing. The lack of consideration from management, coupled with subpar facilities, detracted from what should have been a comfortable and convenient stay. I will be exploring alternative accommodations for future visits to the area.

Just got back after a quick visit to La Jolla to visit my daughter who is attending UCSD. This is the second time we’re staying at this outdated hotel cuz it’s close to my daughter’s apt and the UTC mall. Last time we had loud ghetto people staying next door to us who were up all night yelling and screaming. This time there was a family of 5 (in room 230) with a crying infant and two screaming kids. Plus the parents who had no common sense let coming and going out of the room slamming the door shut everytime. Will never come back and definitely do not recommend staying here.

Experience was very good. Complimentary breakfast was great. They have an omelet station with pancakes, bacon, and, of course, the hot self-serve food like scrambled eggs, potato wedges, sausages, and French toast. They also had oatmeal, cereal, fruit, bagels, and muffins. At the front of the hotel are benches with 2 electric firepits ( for lack of a better word). Walking distance to Westfield mall. Panda Inn 20ft away. The parking fee was a bit steep....$40/ night?. I'm not sure if I will stay here again due to steep parking fees. Otherwise hotel was good.

This is an amazing hotel. The front desk staff could be a bit friendlier, but overall the experience was amazing.. we did encounter a very rude person at the breakfast buffet, but it was early and the food was phenomenal.
