This hotel is great, rooms are nice. Valet parking is 65 per night, and they do not have self parking.

Nice place to stay but still expensive. Mandatory valet at$50 a night is ridiculous. The west side views are gone with the building of the new hotel. I suggest booking a room facing south for better views. Good location for visiting seaport village and US Midway.

Please be cautious of the Hilton Grand Vacation Employee's speaking with you about adding points to your account and getting you a great future vacation package deal. This alone is why I am giving a 1 star review because it is ruining the experience we had afterwards. I was approached about a vacation package and lied about it being for future savings and refundable. Now I am on the phone with the company who is telling me this is to sit in a "timeshare" presentation plus the package is non-refundable. First person I spoke with hung up on me and the second person is having me on hold for over 30 minutes with no resolution yet.The hotel alone is beauiful with a great location and great staff and I have nothing to say but good things. Hopefully I can get a resolvement so then I can update my review.Rooms: Big enough for a family of 4 (two adults, 1 child and 1 toddler). Nothing felt outdated, seemed luxurious enough and safe for a toddler to run around. For the amount spent, seemed very worth it!Nearby activities: Restaurants were nearby in easy walking distance, then could travel alongside the bay and even events were done across from the hotel.Safety: Felt like overall the hotel offered safe experiences for the guests staying such as locking the main entrance after a certain time and the side entrace needed a card to gain entry.Walkability: Simple to get to nearby location, everything is within 15 - 20 minutes and safe.Food & drinks: The restaurant attached to the hotel has great pizza and great service. The Breakfast was fresh and served with much variety! Very pleased.

Pros: Location is ideal. The front desk staff was amazing- when I checked in their system was down, but they did their best and stayed friendly and professional.Breakfast has great selections and is good. Rooms were quiet, views great.Cons: They solicit you while you’re eating breakfast for Hilton trips and points. I just want to eat my breakfast and enjoy my coffee, not be car sales man sold a trip. $25 mandatory fee and their gift shop is small with poor selections. It was hard to find $25 worth to spend as a solo traveling person. I tried room service QR code and the link was broken.I did read that was a thing here (25) but I assumed they’d have a solid store in house. They don’t.Bell hop and Vallet weren’t great. Bell hop was telling me should pick up the cart and then asked me to take my cart down. I replied since he was there already to please help out.I won’t be back, and honestly Hiltons feel like they’re struggling post pandemic. I may switch hotel chains

I stayed here when I went to San Diego for work. It's a very convenient location, about 10 minutes walk from the convention center, and there are restaurants nearby. Breakfast is free and they also make omelettes. Free drinks during happy hour. The rooms are large and very convenient for families. The hotel also had a heated pool and fitness center, which was a great hotel.

The most wonderful hotel in all of San Diego. Rooms, Location, everything about this spot is the best. The staff are friendly and helpful and the comforts they offer from free breakfast to evening cocktails are so wonderful to have.
