Lani Nicole is an absolutely amazing artist! ? She will take your idea and run with it and make 100 times more amazing. She always puts your comfort first and makes sure you have enough brakes and you are doing good. I have been going to Lani for a year now, I'm going to continue going to her. I get so excited when I have an appointment because I know I'm going to have a great time and have an amazing conversation and an amazing tattoo on top of it.

James was so accommodating when there were scheduling conflicts. He made the process so enjoyable and took care of our entire group we came in with. He did SUCH a good job and was efficient. Thank you, James! Highly recommend him!

Was looking for a shop that would do walk-ins for me and my friends and went to Eden and James was available and he took what I was looking for added his own little touch and it turned out AMAZING! I got my first tattoo yesterday. My 71st birthday present from me to me. I was referred to Eden Tattoo Gallery by a friend. My tattoo artist was Kristen Stanley. Kristen was helpful from beginning to end. She is creative, has a great eye for detail & is professional & kind. The studio is very clean & air conditioned. I highly recommend Kristen Stanley & Eden Tattoo Studio.

On our last night in San Diego my husband and I decided to finally get a tattoo after wanting to forever. Tom did mine and James did two for my husband. They were both kind and obviously skilled and talented. We are so happy with the finished product and are so grateful the gentleman were available for our walk-in!

Came to Eden Tattoo Gallery as a walk in and they were able to take me immediately! I got tattooed by James Nelson and he was incredible!! Very friendly and very great conversationalist. I couldn't have asked for a better tattoo experience and this will be the only place I go to for my tattoos from now on!

This was my first tattoo experience, I had never even walked into a tattoo shop previous to this. The experience was everything I hoped for, everyone was kind, professional and shop was clean and inviting. I came in for a simplistic lotus tattoo and James perfected what I wanted, I could not be happier!! 100% recommend this shop & James!

Got tattooed by James last night and I couldn't be happier. He is committed to his craft and takes his artwork and learning seriously. I got my favorite tattoo of all time last night, a beautiful butterfly with gorgeous line work and shading. I'm from Oakland and in town for a day, and I think he'll be the only person to tattoo me from now on- he's that good. The vibe was impeccable- he took his time and was an absolute sweetheart. Can't wait to hear about him and his success!!!

My sister and I received paired tiny tats from James Nelson. He was so friendly and accommodating to our ideas. The shop is small, but very cute and clean. Would definitely recommend!!

I’ve been gatekeeping this place but I have to stop. Tommy is legit the best. I’ve never gone back to an artist except for him. He’s always down for what ideas you have. And none of the guys in this shop make you feel uncomfortable (girls IYKYK)

Had an amazing experience with James on Friday. My friend and I were a walk in on a bit of a time crunch, but James was able to fit us in for some floral linework. He was great to chat with, made sure we were comfortable the whole time, and the floral pieces came out perfect. This is my third tattoo from Eden, and I will for sure be going back :)
