Tony simultaneously saved my job, and my Thanksgiving by coming up with a creative solution to an issue my car was having. Ebers Street Garage...This is one of the rare few automotive repair shops that are honest about how much money anyone of us will spend to keep our cars safe and on the road.Erica is a good service writer and knows a lot about anything like questions and concerns you might have in cars and she'll put you at ease when the final bill costs come out and it gets paid.The men are top notch and have years of expertise and are knowledgeable when they see and note things that need attention right away or just a bit later when the needs arise and that is why theyh are my first and last shop in automotive car repairs and they do it all and that is why they are the first and last shop that deserves my attention to my car and that is that.

This garage is a complete scam. They wanted $500 just to look at my car then the lady at the front desk tried to extort $70 from me when I decide to take my car somewhere else. Just saw a guy protesting outside their business because they scammed him and thought it was a good time to leave a comment

Just picked up my vehicle from Eber's street garage and I couldn't be happier. I needed to get my timing belt and serpentine belt replaced, as well as a coolant flush done. I needed somewhere that I could trust and was referred here by a close friend. I am beyond happy with the work that they did, I feel as if they took amazing care of my car and didn't tell me that I needed to get extra work done that wasn't necessary. I had previously taken my car to a Volkswagen dealership and they were quoting me for extra services and parts that didn't need to be replaced, and on top of that at a much higher price. The manager Erika was super helpful and friendly and they finished the job in just two days! I will definitely be coming back in the future and referring my friends as well.

They are rude and aren't honest with prices. Do better. I have had 2 services done there, and each one the woman at the front has quoted me one price then charged me significantly more when checking out. She is so rude and unprofessional and has cost the company by business. I'm sure the guy with the green sign would agree.

Wow, thank you so much for fixing my check engine light and brakes. The dealership was trying to charge up to 3k, but Tony was super helpful and did the job for less than 1k. Also, Erika at the front desk is such a delight! All the staff are super friendly and takes care of me like family. Thanks, Ebers!!

I will say that the initial inspection and estimate description from one of the techs seemed very doom and gloomy, but the work performed was great and the tech that actually worked on it was very nice and informative. They’re one of the few shops that actually replaces frames and I was very thankful they were in OB. Very happy with the service and the woman at the front desk was helpful and always nice when I called to check in.

Being rude to customers will cost you business, no matter how good your services are. Also, if you make a mistake as the business, you shouldn't charge the customers for it. If you must charge them, don't be rude about it! Have been charged more than I was quoted twice now. Will be taking my business elsewhere.Service: Auto A/C recharge

I drove into San Diego last night and noticed that my brakes were acting funky. I’m just here visiting family over the weekend. I decided to go back to my hometown of ocean beach and get my brakes look at that. Of course, my local auto shop was booked and referred me here to Ebers Street garage. The lot was packed! These guys were swamped with business! And I was shocked when they did not turn me down. They made an exception, got my vehicle in the same day, and changed my brakes within three hours.I could not be any more grateful! The service was phenomenal! I am beyond thrilled with the service here, and cannot be any more thankful. Thank you all so much!

It's unfortunate, I'm local to OB and I have been going to this place for years. Customer service is failing. I called to sechdule bringing my wife's car in, she had some things that she wanted looked at that were maybe not on the normal checklist. So instead of asking me what I wanted done and noteing in the car profile on the computer. They just said bring it in in the morning. No appt. No notes. Kind of annoying, you know, anyways. Drop it off at 0700 before I go to work, guy working morning counter has no clue where the morning counter person is. So he just takes a post it and has me write my number on it and sticks it to the keys. No check in, no notes, he says they will call me for the details when she comes in. They never call, they call to let me know the vehicle is ready. That's it. Quality of work: get there, pay, walk 2 blocks to find the car, pop the hood. And the battery terminals covers are removed. Also the air intake Mass air sensor line is disconnected. So I drive to the front, call the manager. He fixes it. No worries but then the attitude comes. I asked should I trust you guys? He says something to the effect of I agree. And have a nice day. It's unfortunate, the manager guy was quick and easy to blame the technition, poor response to customer feedback. Even had a follow up call to try and talk with the office woman who is very nice and polite but he made sure to take control of that and confirm that I will not be doing business there any more. But it's fine, they always have a line of cars there so what effect will my 2 cars and hard earned cash have on them. Probably not much.

I don't know how they did it but same day.. They changed the oil, timing belt, acc belt, and a few other things. My car is so happy and so am I - even after paying the bill lol. Worth every penny! My first time here but I will be back!
