This gym is not good. The weight room isn’t bad, but always crowded. And tons of people who spend more time on their phone between reps than on the actual reps.The sauna is absolutely disgusting. On multiple and different occasion has it been flooded with sweat. People spitting in there. People putting essential oils in there. You name it, it’s happening. It’s just unregulated and disgusting.Not to mention with the pool right next to the sauna, it just happens to be the cool off zone. So guys will step right out of the sauna and jump into the deep end of the pool. WHILE I WAS SWIMMING IN THE LANE!! This was when I really started going less. DISGUSTING.Lastly, the locker rooms are gross. The showers are always flooded and the side walls of tile in the shower are always slimy and moldy. Barely notice until after a few visits. This was the final straw for me.I thought I would keep the membership but then this location is doing renovation so the one good area is now over over crowded.24 Hours; so when do they clean?Avoid this place at all cost.

I’ve gone to gyms all across the country from small private gyms to big chain gyms and this EōS has to be in my top 3. The GM Armani got me signed up and helped me with any questions I had. I don’t live in San Diego but I will now be a member of EōS in whatever state I’m in. Also the outside gym is insane I’ve never been to a gym like it.

Update: The sauna is still gross although an employee did mop at one point. There is a terrible urea/mildew smell. When I first got to the gym, I thought another gym-goer had terrible BO. However, after going in the sauna at the end of my workout, I think the sauna smell just clung onto him because it was identical and I could even smell it on myself when I got home.The sauna is so nasty! Please do something about it. The one in Encinitas is not like this.

Facility is crowded which is a given since it's San Diego and near colleges. Sauna and pool area are very dirty, especially during even and night. I cancelled membership but cancellation wasn't processed until a month later, card was charged for another months dues but since it didn't go through the billing company just reopened my account and began billing me for monthly dues again without notifying me that the account had been reopened and without authorization from me.

Known as the "Getto club." Always packed during normal hrs. So if u come 9-11 a.m. or 2 -4 p.m. or after 3 a.m. u won't stand a chance! C r o w d e d!

I've been going here for 4 years and what is frustrating about this place is how dirty it is. There's been numerous times where the sinks are clogged with people's hair from shaving, some sinks won't even turn on and bathrooms are usually a mess. Regarding the staff there is only 1 person (shout-out to Kaliana ) that I would say has a good energy, but the majority of people here don't even smile, greet you, or even respond to you when you say "have a nice day". To anyone on the border about going here or not... The gym equipment works well, but definitely lower your expectations for anything else. EOS: Please consider investing in a superior cleaning service!

This gym is absolutely disgusting. I've been training here since it was Gold's Gym, and it's never been this bad. Today was the last straw – they shut down over half the gym space without any warning! Not 1 squat rack for a whole month! (Rip leg days) When I asked about it at the front desk, said they sent out an email, but I checked again in front of them and there was nothing. And don't even get me started on the supposed sign they put up, no one saw it! They used to have two bathrooms, but they decided to close one, leaving just three stalls for the whole gym when other EōS have 10+ It's a joke! It’s the most over crowded gym normally and now its untraininable. When I tried to cancel my membership, they hit me with some nonsense about "standard policy" and still charged me for the next 30 days. In normal circumstances that I’d fine, clearly this is not normal. It's ridiculous, terrible customer service and terrible business practices. Do better EŌS!

Around March I personally went to the gym to ask to cancel my plan, then the manager, a blonde, asked me to pay R$80 dollars and then she would cancel my plan the next day because she was leaving, so she asked for a boy to charge me the 80 dollars and she would cancel my plan the next day to my surprise. I looked at my old card and my plan was still being charged monthly. I called the gym and the new manager. He just said he couldn't do anything for me and I would have to pay for all these months that I didn't even attend. And I thought my plan was already cancelled.

Just wanna mention that members and guest members come to gym to improve their health, but unfortunately there are some members that use their marijuana vapes inside the gym and that’s not acceptable in the gym especially indoor. I hope the gym staff or personnel who are in charge some how post signs or on their app that smoking even if electrical vapes are not allowed and inside the gym.

AVOID AT ALL COST!!! This dude who I thought was my friend name Adrian got hired at this gym and told me he could sign my membership for $1. I already had a gym membership but I said screw it, ill help him out, so i signed it. Not only was the price instantly raised to $30 but I tried to cancel for months cause I had not used it even once and I was always told to call back a manager that was never there. I then ended up moving and tried to cancel it for relocation and still never got a call. Eventually my payment info changed and they would constantly call asking me to update but once again none of them pick up. Eventually I got an email my stuff went to collections where I eventually had to pay $200 for a membership I never used or wanted on top of all the prior monthly fees. I emailed the customer service line about the problem and after being promised a email in 24-48hrs it is now almost a week later and I have gotten nothing. This gym will lie to you, steal your money, and from what I heard from friends half the equipment is either dirty, stolen, or barley works
