I got a flat tire while visiting SD. I visited here, and they noticed I had a nail in my 2-month-old tire and said it wasn’t fixable. (P.s I know nothing about cars or whatnot) so I naturally believed what they said. I didn’t get it fixed there until I returned home. My guys literally fixed it in 10mins with ease, while this shop said it was unfixable??? Load and behold, I found out they were trying to make me buy a new tire. These dudes are trying to scam you. Don’t come here unless you want dishonest people working on your vehicle. The dishonest gentlemen’s name i believe was Austin. So watch out.

Carlos and his team at this Discount Tire are unbelievably professional and courteous. I called up about a rental car with a screw that punctured my tire and caused a flat. Carlos told me to bring it in and he and his crew would fix it for free. They refused to accept payment and not only re-mounted the repaired tire back on the vehicle, but also put away the spare to factory specs. Hard to believe service like this still exists. Thank you! I am a loyal fan and customer now.

Had the worst experience here. I would not recommend this shop at all. The workers accidentally put the wrong sized tire on my staggered set of wheels. They swapped it out after noticing but decided not to balance the tires after their mistake. I had to talk to the manager to make sure it was done properly. Because they were behind on time, they rushed the job and damaged my wheel while impacting the lug nut. And I had to frantically run out into the bay to stop the worker from trying to drive my car out while it was still on the lift. Honestly, unbelievable that this all happened within my 1 hour visit here. I hope management works this out because it’s very poor quality control and workmanship.

We had a flat tire yesterday and everyone at this Discount tire location at 5860 Miramar road provided excellent service and fixed it for free and even put the original tire back on car and spare in truck. I will highly recommend this business to anyone for tire needs.

Brought my car in for a free air check because the TPMS light came on. Oscar told me my tires were unevenly tread, which set off the light, and that I needed new tires from them.
I brought my car to Firestone where I was told there was no such thing and a full courtesy check was performed. It turns out I had a faulty sensor which needed to be replaced.
I will not be bringing my car back to this Discount Tire as I felt their service was dishonest.

I was told these easily 50% tread tires are worn out and will “require replacement in under 5k miles” really!? They are 2022 date code with 14k miles on them….Discount used to be an honest legitimate tire shop, now all they wanted to do was tell me my 2 month old Bosch wipers were worn out and my 50%+ tread life tires were too. Absolutely predatory behavior. I’ll go elsewhere for tires for my 10 family cars in the future.

I stopped here during my trip to San Diego and was having a rental car that got a flat tire. The staff is friendly over the phone and gave me directions, and then talked to the rental company about the situation and addressed the problem easily for me. they charged me $20 for swapping out with spare tire. The wait time was more but very good customer service and friendly people

Came in with a flat tire and Jaggar attended me immediately, was very kind and professional. Service was fast and my tire was luckily able to be repaired. Very happy with the service and thankful to be back on the road within an hour.
