Came in a month ago looking for a engagement ring and Johnathon was very informative and helpful. Went to 6 other stores and it did not compare to this place. Came in with my partner today and came out with my dream ring that I couldn’t find anywhere but Johnathan had it. Very much thank you Johnathan for everything and for having my dream ring already in my size too!!:))

I never thought I would have such an easy, informative experience getting an engagement ring! My girlfriend and I had shopped around at a couple of other stores to get a feel for what kind of ring she would want. Time and again, other stores made this process seem elitist, complicated, and cold.We were getting discouraged by the time we got to David & Sons, but when we met with our associate Cole, our mentality got flipped entirely around! Cole kept the conversation light, helpful, and fun while we figured out what we wanted. Perhaps most importantly, I never felt like I was getting upsold—in several instances, when we were making choices, Cole would nudge us towards a less expensive option when it was better for us.Later, I came back alone to actually make the decision on the ring, and actually got a laugh out of the store’s great pricing policy. After I made the choice, Cole went on a nationwide competitor’s website, saw how much they’d sell the ring for, and then just knocked a small percentage off the top. Works for me!The time estimate to get the ring was 4-6 weeks. When I mentioned that I was hoping to propose on my girlfriend’s birthday in just a few weeks, Cole not only said they could speed up the order, but then also gave me a beautiful, complimentary piece of jewelry for her birthday! Such a great touch on top of an already stellar experience.Just a week later, I got the message from Cole saying that the ring was already available. When I picked it up, he reminded me of two great add-ons: I could get a free ring resizing, and any time I was at the mall, I could pop in to have the ring cleaned at no charge. More great perks!I had everything planned out for the proposal, it went super well, and my fiancé absolutely loves the ring! She’s been so happy just to be wearing it around, and we’ll be popping in to get it resized and cleaned for the first time soon.TLDR; I’d highly recommend David & Sons to anyone making the momentous decision of an engagement ring, and I’d especially recommend our associate Cole who was so helpful, transparent, and honest throughout the experience.

I am extremely upset from my recent visit to David and Sons. I scheduled an engagement ring consultation, and I was very excited to learn more about all the different types of engagement rings and different options of diamonds and settings. Upon arrival, I felt extremely rushed from the salesperson. The staff did not seem to care or have the time to for me... The salesperson didn't even talk to me with eye contact and mostly watched the door and other customers. I asked to see different clarity options on real diamonds, and I was told pretty much to come back. Why on earth would I come back if you didn't have the time for me during my scheduled appointment....? The whole point of this appointment was to figure out what I wanted to buy and then come back and buy the ring in a week or 2. I will definitely not be buying my engagement ring from David and Sons. Absoulty terriable customer service, and I DO NOT RECCOMMEND you wasting your time!

I visited 2 other jewelry stores in San Diego and I didn’t have good experiences. But my experience with David & Sons was absolutely wonderful. Jonathan is knowledgeable and helpful, his response is always prompt and positive. All things other jewelry stores couldn’t do, Jonathan did it for me. I received my engagement ring on the perfect timing and it’s beautiful!

Cole helped me find the perfect engagement ring, and also expedited it to get finished before our trip to Greece. Quality diamond and a good value, he mentioned they will price match any other jeweler as well. They had the most in-stock diamonds and the are the fastest to get any diamond delivered that you would want, all the other jewelers took 3-4 weeks to even look at anything, David and Sons was 24 hours or less. Would definitely recommend stopping by and checking them out during your search.

Came in searching for a matching bracelet and diamond Cuban chain for my birthday. Thanks to Edmond and John's outstanding customer service, I was able to find what I was looking for. In fact, everyone there was incredibly kind and accommodating. A huge thank you to David & Sons Jewelers for this fantastically unique chain. I suggest that anybody who wants to improve their flex game to visit this location, most def!

Cole was very helpful through the ring shopping and buying process. I needed the ring on an expedited timeframe as I had planned a surprise engagement to my fiancée. Cole was able to get the exact diamond my fiancée liked switched to a platinum setting (gold allergy) and ready in exactly two weeks from purchase. I highly recommend Cole and David and Sons.

I recently got a custom band here, and am so happy with how it turned out! Jonathan helped us and he was responsive throughout the process, making sure to take our feedback into consideration. I was able to pick up my ring in almost half the time that was originally quoted. Will definitely come back here for more custom designs in the future!

Recently my wife and I visited David and Son’s jewelry while waiting on an appointment with Brilliant Earth. We had just began looking for a diamond to upgrade my wife’s wedding ring and thought it would be good to check a few locations to have some comparisons and options. We were immediately greeted by all of the staff members including the security guard with a smile and warm welcome. Jonathan was the staff member who took over and asked how he could help us. Knowing we had the other appointment we openly shared our intentions and reason for the visit. Jonathan still happily took the time to show us anything we wanted and answered all of our questions. The entire interaction was pleasant. Even knowing we planned to visit a competitor he took the time to help and answer all of our questions in a very humble, kind, and professional manner. We then proceeded to our appointment and although the service and product were great there too, we decided to stop back into David and son’s one more time. Jonathan was so helpful and friendly we wanted to share our experience and consult with him again because of the knowledge and kindness he was so willing to share. Never saying anything bad about his competition the entire time he proceeded to help us yet again. I can’t stress enough how genuine and comfortable his demeanor and character came off. Gaining more information about what our ideal diamond and price point was he ended up showing us a stone that hit all the boxes. We literally had no intentions of purchasing a diamond this day. The stone was perfect for us, Jonathan took extraordinary care, and truly gave us a great price for the quality of the diamond we purchased. We made a huge decision on a whim and can’t thank him enough for the guidance and care while doing so. It’s not everyday when making a purchase like this you actually feel like you won something. To top it all off the ring was ready way before promised and came out better than we imagined. Thank you Jonathan.
