Staff is rude. Especially the older cashier with short hair. They’ve been out of paper bags for a while. Last visit, as soon as she finished scanning my items she shoved and scattered them across the counter instead of handing them over. She then called for the next customer before I was able to collect the items.
Also found that the other customers here lack spacial awareness and reach past you for items without a single “excuse me”. And they’ll be breathing down your back at the registers instead of waiting at the start of the line.
Been a Daiso customer for years and this is the only location with terrible customer service and overall atmosphere. The Kearny Mesa and National City locations have better merchandise and their staff are nicer.

A great place to find very interesting things not available in most stores and the prices are reasonable. Very good for a Japanese store in the USA. I enjoy Daiso in Japan and Taiwan.

Staff are so friendly. Parking can be a little difficult since everyone and their mothers come to HMART. Everything is so adorable. I visit this location at least once a month and each month they have newer cooler things.

I was confused the first time I shopped here. Didn't know everything was the same price unless otherwise tagged with another price. Cool when I did find that out. I will be going again. A lot of things you don't usually find anywhere else..

Went in to browse for cute novelty surprises for awesome grandchildren; found perfect nic-nacs for play kitchen and crafts organizers etc.?>>> Best of all, surprise for me ? great great price for decor planters that I found had become too expensive/ inflated at Lowe's and Wmart etc.>>> Mira Mesa location, S.D., CA

It’s a very nice place to buy presents to kids at school. Also, good to buy presents for special occasions. But it’s not my top favorite place.
