I will not shop at a pharmacy that refuses care to patients. The pharmacy violated state laws based on the personal beliefs of staff. Their job is to provide healthcare not judgement.

According to CBS 8, the pharmacist here will deny your legal right to medication.

Please….I was so excited to live next to CVS because I buy a lot of make up and skincare, and lots of other stuff. This store looks horrendous. The layout, gross carpets, florescent lights…. Like I’m in a horror movie. Everything is locked. There’s no button to call for help. Do you expect me to walk through this huge store to the front where there’s only one poor person working and bother him? And then walk back with him to get the item? And then walk back to the register? Please… this is not happening for sure. The store on Balboa next to VONS is a million times better.

The pharmacy staff are lovely and helpful. The rest of the store is so extremely understaffed and the staff that is there is so unfriendly, it’s a joke. I waited over 15 minutes, pushed the customer service button 4 times, to have something only an associate could get to unlocked and nobody ever came. And besides that, I always use self checkout because the cashiers act like they’d rather be anywhere else, won’t even look you in the eye. Pretty sad because this store has everything I need and in close by.

Went to the minute clinic for a diagnosis for a cold I’ve had for a few weeks. The Nurse Practitioner Jen was great and very friendly, she put my prescription through to the pharmacy on site, said it should be 15 min or so and that they will call your name on the PA overhead, so I’m like great, I’ll shop around, being patient and careful to listen for my name. I went back up to check 30 min later to check to see, the lady at the pick up counter said it should be another 15, so I wait some more, then I checked in again after another 15 min and she’s like we don’t have it, I’m told her that I’ve been waiting for 40 min. She told me to talk to the pharmacist, and he said my insurance had an issue processing, I’m like you could have called me and asked! Anyway, he said it would be another 10 min, we’ll call your name. Waited more right there in the waiting area and nothing! No name called on the PA no name called at all. So I walk back up to pick up window and it’s been there! I’m so livid. Please have the customer service lacking Pharmacist use the PA to call customers. It’s not that hard!

Quite often this pharmacy does not have enough of my prescription. They give me the few they have and then I have to come back whenever it's ordered and pay for the remainder that they already owe me

$25 for 2 COVID tests and the guy at the counter lied saying the coupon doesn't work on this product. Nothing online saying I couldn't use this as it's a full priced item. COVID is truly turning into a money scam. Hopefully your company isn't still living in the dark ages making people take COVID tests to return to work.

Yesterday I was in the store to use the picture maker with the scanner. I am disabled- I walk with a walker, a service dog, and I have to wear head phones. I couldn't get the photo to scan, so I raised my hand, and the nice man with the arm brace, who has been there since the 80's, was helpful. I don't know his name, but he came right over and helped me.\When I was done with my printing, I brought my receipts to the front counter and gave them to the clerk named Jose. He argued with me, yelled at me, I couldn't understand what he was saying. I had to sit on the floor while he took my prints out of the machine. He was rude and not helpful. I simply told him I didn't need a BAG. Next thing I know he's trying to hand me the photos So I said I'd like an ENVELOPE, and he said I said I didn't need one. Apparently he doesn't know the difference. I know it's a tough job. I have worked many retail jobs over the years. However, there is no excuse for his behavior. Employees like him should be fired!

I have too many incidences that have happened at this CVS in Clairemont Square the manager whom I have spoken to. Apologies with no improvements. How many times do I have to go through the incompetence of the staff not following procedures? To get the wrong medicine or someone else’s. This was the last straw for me. Something needs to be done because obviously it’s not working and it’s only getting worse. I really don’t like giving bad reviews. I always give the person the benefit of the doubt but after so many times you just have to say something needs to change And I’m not the only one that feels that way. And again today I had tried to get another one of my eyedrops for glaucoma I have had for six months and was told that it was not available until October 16 when I asked him a 10 ml bottle was a six month prescription and he could not answer me and then said OK we can refill it. Something definitely needs to change.

ive had so many problems at this location, however it is the most convenient so i still go.. i just try to get in & out as fast as possible. the most recent problem was just this week, when i went in to grab a few items i got to the front to utilize self checkout. the line of people waiting to be helped at the counter was wrapped around and going down the main isle, with absolutely NO employee in site. i would have snapped a picture, but didnt want to invade the customers privacy. while this didnt affect me, it is something that i see occur regularly. -- theres an african american lady who works at the pharmacy & has an attitude every single time i have interacted with her, my mom has had this problem with her as well. shes argumentative with any questions asked. (if she is so unhappy, maybe she should find a new job) -- one of the times i had to push a button for an employee to get a locked item, and waited for over 15minutes... pressed it at least 3 times. when that button is pressed, it makes an announcement over the loud speaker.. when the short white guy with glasses, i think he is a manager, finally came over he acted as if it was an inconvenience for him to help a customer. the staff here, aside from a VERY select few, could care less about any customers that walk in those doors. im not sure how these people are keeping their jobs & corporate does nothing about the consistent problems that come from this location
