Treated like garbage. There was 1 cashier. He was a younger guy and had combed back hair and cheap tattoos. I was next in line and he took a phone call and 2 customers behind me on another register. I asked very nicely if I could please just pay and go since I've been waiting in line. He snapped and me that I had to wait because he was busy. I was not the cause of his bad day, I'm not sure why he thought so but I won't be returning,

I fucking hate their phone automated system, can't get anyone on the line and all I needed was my rx refilled 1 day early.

Operations are killing this business. Here's why. They charge more than Costco; the least of my concerns. To check out I am required to sign off using someone else's name! I complain. On three occasions they say they have corrected the problem. They have not. Now the pharmacy manager admits they cannot make the change. He says only a call to the district leader will solve the problem. I protest. The pharmacy's manager now withholds my prescription until I submit is his leverage. He wants to determine if my phone number and the phone number of the other person are different. They are. He requires me make a call to the district leader. The number he gives me does not take me to the district leader. It is a central number that now requires me to explain the problem to someone else. This person now requires ( REQUIRES) me to submit a case number. I am now asked to wait on hold while this person types up the issue. I explain the primary elements of the problem: Privacy and Operations. Only after writing up the problem does he get back to me. I've been on hold so long now I'm driving. am I given a case number. I am driving when he is finally prepared to give me a case number. I now cannot write down the case number as I am driving. When I ask this person to text me the case number he says say he cannot. The CVS system only allows automated texting.

I came here to get some photos of a special event printed from my cellphone. While I'm seated at the picture kiosk, a woman came in to have passport photos taken. The pull down background for passport photos protruded into the area where I and another customer were ordering prints. The employee told the woman who was getting passport photos, "You don't want THAT in your background!" I knew exactly what (and who) they were talking about. It was rude of both of them. No apology offered to me. Employees should keep their nasty comments to themselves. Also, they can move the pull down passport background over a bit, so it's not in the way of those who are trying to get photos printed. I felt very disrespected.

This is perhaps the worst CVS pharmacy in the entire San Diego area! The unspeakably rude attitude and utter incompetence of the pharmacy staff, for patients genuinely in need of help, is simply unfathomable.I had to pick up my medication (which is a specialty medication, almost never in stock, and often entailing delays) at this location instead of my regular pharmacy (also a CVS, but starkly different; more on that later), because my regular pharmacy didn't have stock. After pickup, I requested the pharmacy staff to help me with a "vacation override" for my next refill, since I will be out of the country at that time, and won't have enough medication for the trip. This is a fairly routine process, and insurances mostly approve without any hassle, the minute the pharmacy staff put in the request (literally takes them 3 to 4 clicks on the computer; I know, because I see it done at my local pharmacy countless times).Instead, this pharmacy staff member attending to my request rolled her eyes, looked mockingly at me, and curtly told me "your insurance will not approve, because your travel date is still not close enough". I explained to her that I want to avoid last minute anxieties (since, as mentioned before, this medication is always on backorder), and just asked her to "put in the request on the computer". She FLATLY REFUSED and behaved in the most condescending manner with me, essentially hinting to me that it's not her problem if I don't get my medication in time; she just will not be bothered to put in the request! To put things into context, medications are oftentimes life-saving, and such cavalier negligence from essential professionals such as pharmacists and pharmacy staff, is not only unethical, but willful medical malpractice, for which the lead pharmacist of this store should lose his/her license for not training their staff properly! And just to prove how utterly wrong and incompetent this staff member was: I made a trip back to my regular CVS on Villa La Jolla Drive (which has excellent pharmacists and staff), explained my situation, and it literally took them less than 30 seconds to put in the request for the vacation override, and it was instantly approved by my insurance, and my medication is now ordered for me to pick up, once it reaches the store.

This store is embarrassing. They are often out of common prescription medications our doctors send in and they won’t order them until we call ourselves. Last time I was on hold for over 30 mins and the (very depressed sounding) pharmacist told me: the information I was previously told was incorrect (or a lie). This is common.Even the robo-info when calling in gives false details about when a prescription will be processed and ready. It’s also depressing to talk with (some) of the staff. I feel bad/pity for them.I just wish I could get the life saving medications my daughter urgently needs. I know I’m not the only one. Please and thank you.PS- I just saw Ayan’s (incredibly familiar) review and I will now be using the store he recommended. Thank you Ayan!!! You are a life-saver. I had the same issues with the pharmacist and staff. I’ve been using CVS for almost 40 years (since Long’s). Never had these issues in any of the 5 other cities where I’ve lived in California. You will be reported.

Worst cvs pharmacy ever. If you have a choice go to a different one, the staff here is slow and always seems to be confused. Worst one ever.

The had prescription sent to them hours ago. I arrive and they say sorry we do y have any prescriptions for you. Go inside and oh we have it but it's not filled. Going to be 15 minutes. Total time burn. They need more organized staff and more staff and a system that works. They are the worse.

Charles is a nice pharmacist. He was very attentive when I stood in line waiting to answer questions. I felt comfort in being served and never had a problem with my prescriptions. He was also very polite to my parents when he administered shots to them. He was caring and considerate to do a gentle yet efficient job.

The worst pharmacy I have ever been to. Several times told me my meds were not ready when they were and then put back on the self because i did not pick it up. SOMe of them would double check and find it, when i fought with them and others would just refuse. Come to find out that THey had 3 acvounts for me and took over a year to correct it. Also. Very rude. Never go there again.Had to make at least 3 trips to pick up one medication consistantly.

Today Lisa helped me with my coupons for the Loreal root rescue which I use at least every month and love it. Today I saved about 9 to 10 dollars thanks to Lisa walking up to me because she remembered me and how she could help me. Of course she was again friendly, knowledgeable... She deserves a big raise because of how she is I'll keep coming to cvs for my purchases ....Sincerely,Stephanie

Used to be a usual if not slightly inconsistent pharmacy outing. Often out of stock, sometimes slow, but now it’s awful. Apparently a new CVS policy has been implemented which requires a verification from my Dr to pick up my prescription that the same doctor just sent over. It makes absolutely no sense and has resulted in my not having my meds for over 5 days now. The new policy has created more work for staff, and many doctors offices don’t know how to respond to the requests for verification…. because it’s not standard and they verified the Rx before sending. So when you try to call your doctor it’s confusing for everyone. Several calls to CVS for me and my provider still nothing. I’d stay away from CVS if possible. Looking to switch soon.

I recently had a highly disappointing experience with CVS Pharmacy, and I feel compelled to share my encounter. My ordeal began on June 22nd when I called the pharmacy to address an issue with a medication. Unfortunately, this initial conversation did not provide me with accurate information on how to obtain a new prescription, leaving me frustrated and concerned. Hoping to resolve the matter, I called again on June 27th, but regrettably, I encountered the same lack of helpfulness and was given the runaround once more. What's disheartening is that the staff failed to inform me about the correct procedure for obtaining a new prescription during these conversations. After enduring over three weeks without the necessary medication, I decided to contact CVS Pharmacy once more today. To my surprise, I was informed that my doctor should have been the one to call directly. It is disconcerting that this crucial detail was not communicated to me in my previous interactions. Throughout this frustrating experience, I interacted with two individuals, Andrea C. and pharmacist Charles Y., who displayed an alarming lack of professionalism. Both individuals exhibited rudeness, condescension, and an overall negative demeanor that left me questioning their dedication to customer service. In conclusion, my experience at CVS Pharmacy has been nothing short of disheartening. The lack of accurate information and the unprofessional behavior from Andrea C. and Charles Y. only added to my frustration. I hope that CVS Pharmacy takes note of this incident and takes appropriate steps to improve customer service and staff professionalism.
