Dr Vineyard was beyond amazing at helping with our reactive dog. She took the time to talk to us about things to help and was absolutely amazing with our boy!

Do not bring your pets to these incompetent people. I was told my dog was overdue for all vaccines, took them in and was charged for the visit and multiple shots. We even came in for a second visit for the remaining shots and I was charged for the full workup including the tech fees. The vet explicitly said my dog was up to date, however later they admitted to lying about actually giving one of the vaccines. In the past I've been spammed by texts from the insurance company they peddle, had leashes and harnesses go missing since they gave them to other customers, and paid the $135 deposit for an appointment only for them to cancel the appointment last minute and fight me to refund my money. My dog and countless other pets getting sick and hurt due to their negligence shows they need actual professionals in their office.

This animal hospital doesn’t even deserve one star. Our family friends’ cat was brought here and was injected with the wrong medication, which put his life in danger, because it was a medication for dogs. Since they were also closing around that time, they had to be sent to another vet hospital (probably to fix the mistake for them that they had created themselves or whoever administered the incorrect medication). The cat is now going through some medication that will go on for several weeks, and is under observation, in case he starts vomiting or lose his appetite. We all know that people make mistakes, but this one is just so unacceptable. Thankful for these family friends for sharing their horrible experience with this animal hospital, and we have been raising awareness to the rest of the people we know and care about, esp. those who treat their furbabies as their own kids. Definitely not recommending this place if you love your furbabies.

My experience could not have been better. I brought in 3 emergency dogs close to closing without an appt.Dr vineyard treated us with the utmost care and concern. My dogs and I all had close attention., great communication, explalnnig the situation and options, hours of extra time beyond closing. Her expertise was evident and I felt in the best hands. She also was in communication with the night urgent care doctor since we were headed to surgery. When I met the excellent doctor at night, Dr. Panini, their sharing of all tests and thoughts were obvious.Every single person in the office was positive and patient. I will definitely be back and am so glad I found this treasure of a vet office for my dogs. And the bonus is at night is is an urgent care and they too were amazing.

Might be the only vet in this area that does USDA health certificate for international travel. Kendra and all the other staffs who helped us have great knowledge, and got us well prepared for the travel. Thanks to their help the flight with our cat was super smooth.

We always have a great experience at Towne Centre Vet. We've been coming here since 2017. The company changed owners and most employees stayed. They know the business, are professional, love pets, and love our dog. We've also brought 2 cats and 2 other dogs here. All treated fabulously. I'm so grateful for the team at TCV! Thank You ALL!

Still waiting on test results, and concerned that they prescribed my dog an Anti-Diarrheal when she did NOT have diarrhea and now has not had a bowel movement for 3 days. Expecting to speak with Dr. Crawford first thing tomorrow morning. *Update: have been in lengthy back and for email communications with the doctor and in spite of the lab report showing a collection date of the blood sample that was NOT the date my dog was seen, she insists that "it is an external batch collection start date not associated with her samples".... hmmm, I imagine any reputable lab would need to know the correct date that the sample was taken. So many communication and continuity issues with this office, could never recommend nor take my animal back to again. I don't question the Dr.'s intentions to "do a good job" but there are major loopholes in this clinic that just make the whole experience subpar, especially with an over $600 bill.

I have been there a couple times and it’s the same each time. They make you wait outside until its your turn, which wouldn’t be so bad, but they double book. If your pet has anxiety like mine, waiting in your car for 30 mins past your appointment time is awful. The admins and Vet are crass. The first time we went they tried to charge us for the free visit you get when adopting from a local shelter; they acted like it was a favor they were not charging us. Immediate red flag for pushing for a double charge since they would already be paid for the visit by the program. It’s very apparent they try to schedule multiple visits with you to milk out as much money as they can. I honestly thought the reviews mentioning these stacked fees were crazy, but man is it weird to have it play out in front of you. The only redeeming quality are the vet techs that work there and the only reason they are still in business.Please don’t go there, and if you are a vet tech that works there reading this… you are awesome and jump ship while you can or ask for a huge raise. You have all the leverage.

Quoted a different price on the phone then charged at appointment time. Stated that I needed to get my bunny checked out spayed then couldn't give a quote until more tests, they seem like they're scamming people. Would not return nor recommend.

Long time patron, had some issues before but the last interaction will be my last.After years of appointments and thousands of dollars, I called to get some cat food in an emergency for my cat. They said I required an appointment, clearly to extort more money from me. I told them I had already switched vets based on previous bad experiences after the ownership change.They begrudgingly agreed, then gave me dusty food and over charged a substantial amount.These people are money hungry and without a soul. Take your pet you love to a place that cares.

Like many recent reviews have said this place has tanked. Anything from scheduling to efficient service is difficult and just not worth the headache, in my opinion. Did ownership change or similar? It's the only thing I can think that caused such a collapse in professionalism over the last few years. Check my reviews, I am easy going and this is probably my worst review in years. The place earned it.

This is a great veterinarian team. They truly care for the animals. Whether on the phone or in person they show compassion. I have had many kitties seen and treated here over the years. Do not hesitate to call them for help with your precious ones. I wouldn’t go elsewhere.

Unfortunately we took our loving guinea pig, Hamilton in for annually check up. They ended up recommending tooth surgery with general anesthesia and he was never same after that. He ended up passing away with pneumonia when we took him to the animal hospital in Encinitas 5 days later. The ER doctor thought it was very bad decision on recommending the surgery. I really regret going ahead with the surgery. I do believe that Hamilton will still be with us today if we had not been encouraged to spend $600 on surgery. I would not recommend taking your pet to Town Center. The ER doctor said the pneumonia was caused by the anesthesia.

They recommended us a dog behaviorist for my sister's dog. The behaviorist performed the entire session on Zoom and charged us outrageously insane amounts of money just for giving some basic level advice. The behaviorist probably pays them to refer customers.
