I love the people at Community Walgreens! They are always super helpful and go above and beyond when helping me. I’ve been going to Community forever, even tho I moved to the East county, the drive is totally worth it. I will always recommend Community Pharmacy to everyone.

This is a small pharmacy but were 100% better than the typical big box pharmacy's... the staff treated people with respect and kindness. I felt so comfortable and relaxed talking to the staff, from the front person to the Pharmacist . Please don't ever let this Pharmacy go, it represents true service

I went in for a prescription and I can not express my gratitude to the staff there. I was out of country and these amazing people helped me get the medication I needed. I hope this makes it back to them and wish I knew their names because they are amazing. Thanks you!

I agree with other 1 star poster who said they are completely incompetent, right on my man! Let me 1st say this is a bought out non-chain pharmacy that I highly believe was bought by Walgreens. How else can anyone explain the interior, for real I thought I entered into the past with this place, not originally a Walgreens nor is there a sign it's a Walgreens outside, but it's listed on the Walgreens app, Google Maps, Web Browser as a Walgreens place or network for pharmacy. One employee was wearing a Walgreens shirt under his zip up hoodie. I laugh at all the 5 star reviews, especially the: I've been going here for over "_ _" years, LOL!! Now my quick interaction and advice; my visit came down to being told all and any type med's you need filled, do it at a retail Walgreens and don't bother us (there was more words said). My advice is you call them first and see what exactly they like doing, because it was clear they wanted me gone no matter what I asked and I felt discriminated near the end of the conversation. Good luck my future reader ?

I have been a customer of this pharmacy for longer than I care to remember. They have always given me outstanding service, much more above and beyond than what you would get at a large retail pharmacy. All of the staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and the pharmacists are excellent. Although they are owned by Walgreens, they have the personal touch and attention to detail you would expect from an old-school privately owned pharmacy.

We recently moved to San Diego and were in need of transferring our prescriptions. This pharmacy (found on a Yelp) was so completely on it that everything was completed in five days! They even managed to get a Rx pending here in SD transferred (We had not authorized that it go to the first place.....weird). All of this with friendliness and efficiency. We are so pleased to have Community Pharmacy taking care of all our prescription needs.

This pharmacy is absolutely amazing. I can't say enough positive things about their attention to detail and professionalism. Sam, Henry, Jim and Franko have helped me tremendously over the years. I am truly grateful for all their help. Not only are they knowledgeable about the medications you are prescribed, but anything dealing with insurance coverage as well they are extremely helpful. If Yelp had 10 stars, this pharmacy would deserve it. I'm so appreciative!

I'm not sure what a couple of the reviewers are talking about. I've been getting my prescriptions at this pharmacy for over 12 years. This is NOT a typical BIG BOX Walgreens. It is a pharmacy only with only about 20 ft. of tall shelving for a few OTC medical items. In front of the counter is about a 12 ft. square waiting area. That's it. It's a tiny place. If 5 staff members were called to the floor as one reviewer wrote, they'd fill the waiting area. There is no loud speaker system. The space is only 12' by 12'. There is another typical Walgreens in the 300 block of University Ave. and the other reviewers may be confusing this one with that one. The pharmacy folks at this pharmacy have always been friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
