I moved again after 6 months of being in San Diego. Naturally I hired the College Hunks again, since they did a great job for me a few months ago. I had Matt, Lucas, Abraham and Diego. They were fantastic, and I couldn’t have asked for a better team to help. I hopefully won’t need their services again for awhile, but I know I’ll call them when I do need help!

Worst moving experience for me in my life (and I moved many times before).The 3 guys (John, Damon and unfortunately I can't recall the third guy's name).Damon and guy 3 both looked like they were sick and I even asked one of them if he was ok. They were walking like zombies and I could just see the 'pain' on their faces that they had to be there working.They started to carry out my boxes one by one... these boxes were small and about 3-4 lbs. each. I asked them if they have a dolly, because this will take a very long time, they said they do and they will bring it in... that did not happen until I asked them again after about 10 min.I worked since I was 18 years old ( I am 44 now), I worked in Europe and here in the USA as well; I know how willingness to work looks like; these guys weren't it. They looked like they wished me to hell and had no intention working that day.It was so painful to watch that I started to carry out my boxes and furniture to the truck.I really thought we will never finish with the load. I asked John (the supervisor) if these guys were new and he said no why? I said because they look like they are not sure what they are supposed to be doing. John laughed and this is what he answered; you know it takes some time to get used to touching other people's stuff....... I said well they are in the wrong business then if this is an issue and since they are here they better get used it very quickly. Finally they loaded my furniture and John said oh the unload will go much quicker. I said I sure hope so.Well it did not go much quicker at all, took pretty much the same amount of time to unload and again a very painful process to watch. (and I just asked them to leave all boxes in the garage, so they did not even had to carry them into the house)Added to this, they damaged multiple pieces (night stand, dresser, shoe rack) and hit the wall many times in my brand new house. They damaged one of the bedroom's door frame because instead of moving the chair in an angled position as it should be they just jammed it through.Finally they finished and they left a ton of their blankets in my living room I had to go after them. We filed a paper the nightstand and dresser damage (I did not notice the frame damage till the next day) and they were supposed to give some reimbursement but my case got closed with the comment that I ignored best practices and they heard me saying the move was too expensive..... this is a complete lie. This was a 2 bedroom apt move (without sofa and dining set) the distance was 5 miles no stairs at any of the location. It took 5 hours for them to do the job. The job was estimated for 3.5 hours. 2 years ago for the same amount 2 guys in their 40's got the job done in 4 hours and the distance was 18 miles. And most importantly NOTHING got damaged.I am very sorry I ever hired this company and I ended with these lazy lying people.I will tell my story to all my friends so they will stay away from this company. If you ended up with hard workers from this company, good for you, count your blessings. I wasn't so lucky.

My dad needed stuff packed and moved out of his upstairs office and I wanted to help even though we live in different states (Cali & Tex). I looked online and came across College Hunks and figured my dad needs extra muscle so let's check these guys out. Their website had a "Labor" section and that looked like just the thing. I filled out a small form and someone returned my call within seconds. They were super understanding and made it easy. Someone called and spoke to my dad the next day and sent three guys over. Boom Bang Bam! He was super satisfied which makes me happy. He said that he ran out of boxes but that Scott had some with him. They even offered to haul some junk away for an added fee but just the ease of this is why I highly recommend them. I've been on the phone with companies and there's always hidden fees and what have you which makes the process so tiresome. Not these guys. Thanks College Hunks for helping out my dad and for the peace of mind.Services: Senior moving

We hired College Hunks to move a wall unit we purchased on Marketplace. It was a very heavy unit. It was suppose to be able to be moved in two pieces but as hard as they tried the movers could not get it apart. They carefully wrapped it and with great determination, they moved this heavy unit in one piece. They took great care not to touch the door jams or bump the gate while working together to get it in the house. It was amazing to watch. JT, Garrett, Robert and crew leader,Grant, were professional, polite, considerate of our property and worked very well as a team to get the job done. From my first conversation with the scheduling person to the delivery of my item, our experience was a positive one. We will be using College Hunks again.

They don’t service San Diego, why do they show a location? If you are College Hunks, you need to update all of the auto calls/website. I entered in the zip code of this listing, and it stated they do not service this area.
