Very bad service. Javier was rude. Would not cash my check. I feel discriminated against. Wanted to call my employer and embarrass me. Pushed me aside for next customer.

Everyone at this branch has been extra helpful with all our banking needs. Diego, Natasha, Daniel are all exceptional.

Excellent customer service every time! My wife and I both bank here for multiple yrs, and do anything from banking to investment to notary... All private bankers and rest of banking staff are super nice, caring, and efficient. Even puppies are welcome

Uninformed and disorganized. Had a meeting here and they couldn't answer most questions and did little to motivate me to reactivate my account with them. Felt brushed off completely

Very clean, and not too busy. Parking lot outside the bank (parking is major issue in this area) very convenient. Stopped by to deposit the check, the cashier was friendly and polite. Good experience

Terrible management seems to be the lead problem at this place, but along with it comes poorly trained employees, lack of currency available, and unfriendly customer service, just to name a few. We grew tired of Bank of America so decided to switch to Chase upon moving to SD. Unfortunately, we set everything up at this branch - or at least tried. This place truly is a mess, so now we're leaving Chase PC and going to Wells Fargo.

Chase itself as the entity is abysmal at the moment, once you're at the top it's easy to fall asleep at the wheel--but the actual people who work at this Hillcrest location are ROCKSTARS.The online setup for a Chase business checking and credit account was problematic, causing operational setbacks and delays.Luckily, I was able to get a meeting with Dane Lopez. Conversely to the Chase online system, the in-branch experience was outstanding, largely due to Dane, a banker who exhibited exceptional professionalism and a genuine desire to assist. Dane not only resolved the issues that stemmed from the online platform, but also communicated each step clearly and effectively, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the services provided. Although I think all my Chase online issues are in the rear view, Dane has always been quick to jump on the phone and quash these speed bumps.I would also be remiss not to also mention Angel Paraiso who helped immensely while I was traveling and verifying my business accounts were in order during another issue that stemmed from creating the business accounts online.Moral of the story--if you are opening any kind of account with Chase pretend we are a couple decades back and walk into a branch. If you want great service and people who have a desire to help, come to this branch!

These pictures are not of 3800 5th street Chase. Anyway, my experience was great. I travel for work and I was unable to withdraw a large sum of money because the system thought it was fraud. I went to 5 different branches and all those managers couldn’t do anything!! until I came to this one ..Daniel was kind enough to sit down with me and look over my account. I provided all documents and was able to walk out in less than 20 minutes. Thank you Daniel!!

I had multiple devices in my account. Two of which were not mine. I know this because I'm strictly a droid user not Apple. And I've known to be hacked. They would not give me the IP address, or call the police or anything. Their recommendation was to just change my password. Or just change my account. Which I politely told them that wouldn't matter because then we'd be having the same conversation all over again in a week's time.... And they still wouldn't call the police they didn't care. Because the person hadn't taken any money.I suggested I should break in and sit right in the lobby and not take any money . Would I would be treated the same way? Strictly told absolutely not that would be arrested and I better not do that. Hypocrisy was overwhelming. If I could give negative stars I would

I'm changing banks finally, been with Chase when it was WA Mutual. I've been fraudulently scammed out of $1600 over 4 months two incidents. Chase's Fraud Dept. Is not about the consumer/ Victim nor is about making an attempt to find these people, their Fraud Dept. Is there only to come up with multiple reasons it's your fault so you have to pay and they don't. I had no access to my debit card, accts froze, I could not use my card but the scammer used it twice for $198 ea. How am I responsible for Chase allowing charges to go through even though I have no access to my acct.. that is not my fault nor responsibility to pay that but they force you to. My opinion Chase needs to stand up and take some of the responsibility , instead of just excuses. They even stated he tried to use my accts at least 8 more times and was unsuccessful now why with this pattern on my acct.I'm held liable for Two charges. Sorry Chase you are becoming a little uppity for my taste and am grateful to bid farewell to a very GREEDY Institution.

Terrible. Tried for 3 weeks to open a simple business account. Had to come to the branch multiple times and each time was assured that the situation was resolved. The branch manager at another branch said that the account was set up completely wrong triggering fraud alerts and freezing our account. We gave them multiple opportunities to correct the issue and eventually had to transfer to US Bank. Seems like this is isolated to this branch but judging by other reviews is not isolated to this incident. Alex and Dane seem to care but are either incompetent or insincere.

THIS IS A ZERO STAR REVIEW: I called up Chase Bank to file a partial claim on an amount of money that I'd paid for merchandise. I spoke to a lady called Daydree Ann (sp) at the chase dispute phone number on Monday Tuesday 2-6-2023. I quite clearly stated that PayPal had told me to call my banking institution and I quite clearly stated that this was a 'partial amount' of the amount of money that I had paid in full. The above mentioned representative said she'd file a claim for me. I also offered photographs of the damaged goods and she didn't want that. Three days later I called the same phone number and get Nove (sp) on the phone. According to her a claim was put in for the full amount of money which I DIDN'T ask for, she also said that Daydree Ann told me to go back to PayPal which she did not tell me to do as I told her I'd already spoken to PayPal on that first phone call. Nove asked me for a claim number to which I said I was never given one. I wasted three days of my life only to be told a bunch of lies about what I'd said and that there was nothing they could do. I mentioned to her that they wiretapped their phone calls so why didn't they go back and listen to that exact conversation and listen to what I HAD said compared to what this representative had supposedly typed out for a claim for me. I told her within a week I'll be closing my account. Absolute complete and utter incompetence.
