Great Chase location situated in a plaza right off the 805 exit in Sorrento Valley. Plentiful parking and a minimal wait on a weekday morning. Had a few questions regarding my account and Brent Carpenter provided outstanding assistance. Very knowledgeable, warm, and helpful. My outstanding items were promptly resolved.

Mira Mesa location closed due to Coronavirus. Sign at MM location funnels customers to Scranto Rd. location. Employees here are doing the best they can with the guidance they were given. June 01st, the busiest day of the month, one teller. Five employees but one teller. To employees running around apologizing for the wait but one teller on the 1st of the month, at 10:00 a.m.. When I arrived I was ninth in line. Due to social distancing I waited out side for 40 minutes and inside for another 20 minutes. One hour to deposit one check into one account. 45 second transaction with the teller. Avoid this location. They can not handle more than five customers in a reasonable amount of time. Again, the employees are doing the best with the tools they were given.

I have visited dozens of Chase branches across the US and been a Chase customer for years.
This is the worst branch ever! I called in today (July 10th, 2019) 10:15AM to check if they can do notary. The guy tells me I am expecting a customer between now and 11am, I will be done by 11:30am. So stop by after 11:30am. I conformed that I will drop in at 11:30am.
On arriving the branch at 11:30am, I asked for the person I spoke with over the phone, and I was told he is the only person who can do notary and he is currently attending a customer and opening his account. I told that I was asked to come at 11:30am and I am hearing this now. Further, I requested if he can help me with the notary quickly, it's just 1page to notarize. After going back & forth I had to leave the branch without the notary. As I was told to wait 30-45mins or come back at another time.
I work full-time and took time off from work to drive 20 minutes each way just to hear to come back or wait 45mins. Typical example of how businesses treat their current customers and prospects, shame!
