This organization has helped me in my recovery to transition from a walker to a recumbent and now an upright. 5 STARS To Sarah Tipton's review: to what you said, this is nothing new to this foundation NOR TO many other orgs/business attitudes in San Diego County. San Diego County sources are VERY SELECTIVE, in which disabilities they CHOOSE to support.

The organization is very prejudiced at disabled people who want to volunteer. I calledcand they say " oh we cant accomidate a way to get you to events nor can we assist or accomidate your disability"

This is one of the most important place for all they help people with disabilities across the world and empower people with disabilities through sports equipment and traveling grant. I am amputee Disabled Purple Heart Recipient. CAF has helped me Surf in the past and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in the present. Nico is very positive and professional. Receiving a grant to participate in sports (equipment or membership) from CAF was hassle free and dependable. If you are a challenged athlete, give them a call and if they can't help you, they have a large network for you to find your best fit.
